Before we even reach the door it's being thrown open and Rosa is dashing out to greet us.
"Have you started planning it yet?!"
Lance blinks at her in surprise.
"Planning what mama?"
She gasps and smacks him on the arm.
"Anna is turning fifteen this year!"
"Fifteen?"
Suddenly something seems to click and he practically hops in place.
"We need to start planning!"
"Um... what?"
Lance turns to me excitedly.
"Anna's quinceanera!"
"I'm sorry, what?"
"A party to celebrate her turning of age."
"So, a birthday party?"
"A giant birthday party. Oh!"
He turns to Rosa.
"We could have it at the Garrison with the lions! Maybe even in the castle!"
She nods quickly and they both start talking before disappearing into the house.
"Yeah, I feel for you."
I turn to see Veronica standing in the doorway.
"I don't even know what just happened."
"They're going to be like this until the party is over. I've had to experience it before so I recommend you take Anna away whenever possible to escape them."
"Yeah. That's probably a good idea."
