Lie and everything was broken,
Lie and everything was lost.
Tell the truth and my sanity would be taken,
And now, even your smile has a cost.
Emotions are destructive voices within our heads,
Seeking for justice, seeking for vengeance.
At the end of the day we would be back in our beds,
Looking for the monsters but they're just in our heads.
Tears are fascinating,
They would fall and yet our mouths would curve a smile.
The pain in our hearts would never cease,
And yet we forgive our demons that would never be in peace.
I used to hate life,
Until I met you.
Thought that everything was perfect,
Until I left you.
Don't think I didn't love you because I did,
And even if everything reminds me of you,
And now even my favorite songs became strangers to me in just a snap of cue,
I will never again dare say "I love you too."
