In the midst of the night,
We made a vow.
That our relationship would be strong as might,
But what happened now?
The loud echo of my heart,
And the walls of my trust.
I gave it all to you so that we won't be apart,
But you still threw it away in the dust,
And now I am left all alone, weeping for our past.
You broke me,
And now I am hurting.
Do you like what you see?
You filled me with pain that you constantly bring,
You made me a slave and you are the king.
I still remember when you hugged me so tight,
Whispering sorry like it's gonna make me alright.
Now, whenever I look at the clock,
And when it's already midnight,
That's when the memories haunt me back.
