Lonely quiet eyes,
Paired with the agonizing touch of destiny's twirl.
I saw you walking under the brightest pink sky,
But you were not alone, you were embracing a girl.

The fire in my soul ignited with fury,
But all that went out from my pale lips was a mellow, cracked, laugh.
As my tears soon follow, my heartbeat in a hurry,
Your eyes met mine as a stranger and I decided from now on I'll be tough.

You thought it would break me,
Sometimes I catch you looking though you must have seen.
You must think this is just a game,
And yet I know in the end I will always win.

But of course the hurt I could never deny,
I am not a liar but I can be one.
We were never strangers but now we are,
The love I had for you is now forever gone.

But sometimes I couldn't avoid,
Asking myself what is my worth.
I never once heard your sorry,
And now I question myself,
Was your love true or just plain delusory?
