You and I were meant to be,
Always together, having tea.
The cherished laughters,
Like it's just the two of us matters.
And I thought that our relationship couldn't be shattered.
The time came,
When we will be apart.
The summer should be blamed,
Because it broke us like pieces of art.
And then she came,
The girl who destroyed the idea of us.
I know that you wouldn't be blamed,
I know that I shouldn't cuss,
But baby, you broke my heart like pieces of ice,
And now a waterfall of tears are falling from my eyes.
I accept defeat,
Because if you really loved me,
You will not just stand up or just sit,
But instead, you let me be.
Now I know, we are not meant to be,
Because I love you so much,
That I will set you free.
