He says he needs me,
But he's seeing someone else.
He says he wants me,
But he only wants my prize.
He says he likes me,
But he has his collection of shells.
He says he can't live without me,
But I'm too dumb to realize his lies.
He says he adores me,
But he still left me wasted.
He says he will never leave me,
And I'm so stupid to believe that's true.
He says he admires me,
But he took me for granted.
He says he loves me,
And as always I respond, "I do, too."
