"It's 7am, sleepy heads; let's rock and roll!" I was speaking in raised whispers to my troops as I tried to rally them. They were all asleep on their mats in the guest room of Jins' apartment and I needed them up, but not to wake SeokJin. My hair was up in a simple ponytail, dressed for the day already.
"When do the Boys leave?" yawned Cher.
"Out the door at 9am. Let's get it!"
Once in the kitchen, I pulled open the fridge and began laying out the groceries I had bought the day before. The boys had soundcheck at 1, so makeup and hair at 11, final practice at 9:30am. The show was at 5 but the day was long and full for them. We already had plans to celebrate afterwards, but I wanted to ensure that they hit the morning with bellies full of food fuel.
"Éowynn, start frying sausages. Cher, grab the wok and do up the kimchi fried rice. Gojuchang is still in the fridge. Brigette, start cleaning veggies, Atticus start chopping. I am doing up the omelettes as soon as everything is cut up."
The factory line moved like a well-oiled machine, with my little assembly workers spelling each other off to get dressed and brush teeth and hair in the single bathroom. Once I dropped the first omelette into the pan, I handed it over to Atticus to watch and then slipped into the bedroom to wake Jin.
He was already awake, sitting on the edge of the bed, peering blearily at his bare feet. I knew he hadn't slept a whole lot the night before.
"Good morning, Gorgeous." I wrapped my arms around him, kissing the top of his head.
"Mmm...what smells so good?" I straddled his legs, kissing him on the full lips.
"Must be me."
Jin laughed, hugging me.
"Really? Then you smell like sausages." He leaned forward, biting into my neck, setting me off into giggles.
"Ok, ok, it isn't me. It's breakfast. Go summon your brothers. We have enough to feed an army."
"Not our ARMY. There are millions." I had stood up but my steps back were halted by Jin pulling me in to plant a tender kiss on my tummy. "Good morning, my son." He looked up at me, dark eyes soft. His cheeks still bore the gentle pink blush of someone just waking. I ran my hands through his hair, then pulled him to his feet.
"Get the boys." He nodded.
When Namjoon came in, ducking his tall head to hug me, he was followed by sleepy but happy men, sniffing the air appreciatively.
"Mmmm..." Jungkook had his eyes closed, following his nose to the table.
"Thank you, Noona." J Hope gave me a hug, shooting glances at the maknae who was already reaching for food.
"Ah, yes, thank you!" The bunny grin rewarded me.
"Wow," Yoongi scanned the table. "Telly-Ah, will you marry me?"
Jin came up behind me, wrapping both arms around me and tucking his chin into my neck.
"She will not. She is spoken for."
"No ring, no deal." Yoongi spoke through a mouthful of sausage, "Just so you know, Noona, the offer is open."
"Thanks. I'll keep that in mind."
Jimin was standing over by Cher, who insisted on seating him and filling his plate. Yoongi held his plate out to be dished up too. Cher laughed, then relented.
"Cher," Yoongi spoke again, "Marry me?"
The blush matched her red hair as Jimin playfully pushed his brother over.
