"Back to regular schedule." We were sitting in the dance studio listening to Bang PD Nim. I wasn't generally part of these discussions, but I had brought a huge lunch for the sweaty boys, their choreographer and their managers. I was leaning back against SeokJin passing him wraps. I could smell the perspiration with my finely attuned pregnant nose and it brought to mind other activities that made him sweat. I arched back, stretching, feeling his eyes pull down and synch his deep breath to mine. Bang Si-Hyuk was unaware of the flirtation with his eldest member and continued talking. "Their are many things coming up in the next couple of months so, if we want the time off, we need to put the time in first."
All the boys nodded, chewing contentedly from the lunch spread on the blanket on the floor.
"The rap line are getting together tonight to work on our part for that song the President asked us to unveil for New Years. We just need to work out the lyrics. And the commercial is ready to record." RM offered.
"You have plans this week, Jin?" Bang PD Nim asked. Jin nodded, chewing quickly to swallow his mouthful and ignore the fact that I had butted up against him and was swaying just enough to seem inconspicuous but to make his body very aware of how close I was.
He half sputtered on the swallow.
"Yes. I have a court appointment on Friday." At this, I narrowed my eyes and turned my head to look at him over my shoulder. I was unaware of SeokJin going to court this week. He gave me a mischievous grin, then looked away. "3 o'clock."
"Ok. Then I expect an early morning. Vocal line can be in the studio by 6am. We can do dance at 10 am and the rappers can record their part in the afternoon. Friday evening, vocals are back at it by 5." There were nods of assent all around.
Namjoon nodded, too. "That works, sir."
"Alright," Bang Si Hyuk stood up. "Ten more minutes, then back at it, boys. Thank you for the lunch, Telly-Ssi."
"Anytime." I returned his bow.
He and the other manager went aside with the choreographer and spoke for awhile.
"So what is court for on Friday?" I asked Jin. He smiled and popped another wrap in his mouth. "Fine. Keep your secrets." I ground my hips back against him, smiling inwardly when I felt him tense and respond. "I can give you another secret to hold."
"Stop that." His arm looped around me, above the big swell of baby. "I have to dance soon."
"Then tell me." I leaned back to whisper this in Jins' ear, catching his earlobe in my teeth. I held it there as I breathed purposely onto his neck and ear. He shuddered, then pushed me up.
"Alright, Miss Distraction. You need to leave."
I laughed at his 'predicament' as he carefully stood, turned away from the boys and pulled me up to my feet.
"We'll clean up!" Hobi offered when I reached for a platter.
Jin pulled me into the changeroom.
"You brat. Better not start something you don't intend to finish." He kissed me but I pushed him against the wall, deepening the kiss until it left him panting. "You are cruel!" I laughed.
"Tell me what is happening on Friday and I might put an end to this torment."
I ran my hand along him, emphasizing my point.
"Here?" He squeaked. I nodded, narrowing my eyes.
Jin debated, his whole body on edge.
"I am adopting the children. I was going to tell you, obviously. But as a surprise."
