We were standing in front of the judge, another couple in front of us.

"Jin-Ah, are you sure about this? We can wait for that big wedding you want."

Jin was staring straight ahead, beautiful features resigned and also excited. He was fidgety and kept rolling my knuckles between his thumb and pointer finger. I touched his cheek, bringing his attention back down to me.

SeokJin smiled, instantly calming.

"We will have the big wedding. After the baby comes. But, Telly-Ah, I want my son to know who his father is. I want his name to be Kim, like mine. I want you to be able to say he is the son of your husband." He pulled me against him, feeling my body shaking. "You're nervous."

I nodded.

"I don't want you to feel cheated."

Jin smiled obligingly at me.

"I would feel cheated if I had to adopt my own child." He smoothed my eyebrows with his thumbs as my mind raced. I hadn't thought of that. If Korea was like Canada, it was up to the mother whether to list the father or not. I, of course, had intended to do so, but perhaps Jin would have to adopt the baby later to prove its' paternity. He leaned back from me, a concerned expression wrinkling his brow. "Do you not want to marry me yet?" The self confidence that he worked so hard to exude was fragile in reality. I saw its' cracks as he looked worrisome at me.

I tippy-toed to kiss his cheek. His ear was in reach and I leaned closer to whisper clearly.

"I have never wanted anything more. I will marry you today, tomorrow...anytime you want me."

"Now." Jins' eyes were clear and happy. "I want to marry you now."

The couple before us was complete and we were called forward to present our paperwork. There was some verification of identification, confirmation of intent, then several questions asked, to which we both answered assuredly and facing each other. I couldn't stop trembling, so Jin held both my hands and my gaze as we repeated the phrases dictated by the judge. When he made the pronouncement, we both bowed and SeokJin went forward to recieve the validated certificate. He brought it back to me, leading me from the room, a huge grin on his face.

"We are legally married, Telly-Ah! You are my wife and I am your husband." He pulled me around a corner and placed a gentle kiss on my lips. I stared up at him in shock. Husband. He was my husband. "We are married!" SeokJin said again, kissing me much less gently this time. When he pulled away, my tears had started. Jin laughed and began kissing them away, holding me until the shaking had stopped and my mascara was in thin rivers down my cheekbones. "Say something, my wife."

I opened my mouth but had run out of words.

"I love you, Kim SeokJin." I could think of nothing else.

"And I love you, Mrs. Kim!" He dragged me outside and flagged a taxi. The return ride to the train station seemed gilded with the golden glow of pure happiness. All sounds muffled except the melodic timbre of SeokJins' voice. His words were as honey spilling from his plush lips. My eyes kept roving over his face, features, figure...I had never seen this man before. I had known a Kim SeokJin; Idol. But this was Kim SeokJin; Husband and we had never before met. He was so exquisitely beautiful that it made my chest ache. His fragrance tickled my nostrils. My senses were overwhelmed with the wonder of him.

Jin laughed at my astonishment.

"Didn't think I meant it?"

"I did...but...you are you and I am only...me." I shook my head. "I vow to always endeavour to make your life the fairytale that you have made mine."
