Let Go!

The sand is warm under my skin. My closed eyes absorb the sound of crashing waves and light breathing into my ears.

Her hair blows lightly in the wind. Slightly hitting my chin. Here, sitting in the sand, she closes her eyes. I pull her lower back into my hips and extend my legs to either sides of hers.

I hear him move behind me, but I keep my eyes closed. I leaned back, placing the back of my head on his shoulder.

Her face was now in full view. The high points of her face glow from the shine of the evanescent fog above. I move my hand up to her face and place the pad of my pointer finger on her lower lip.

His calloused yet soft fingertip glides across my bottom lip. My mouth pouts at the sensation of his touch. A gasp falls from my throat. I move my hand to grasp his bare knee, which was placed next my thigh.

I place my hand across her stomach to pull her closer to me. My hand moves from her face to the side of her head, making her body stationary. She already feels like jello in my arms. I dip my head so my lips would touch her earlobe, knowing how much she likes the notion.

I hear his light breathing against my ear. I can't stop him from doing it. He knows how much I love it.

I dip lower to the skin just under her ear. I place my lips there, earning another delicious sound from her. I needed to hear more from her. The waves started calling out to me. I have an idea.

I felt his lips leave me. I groan involuntarily. Suddenly, I feel my body being lifted. My eyes go wide. He was carrying me towards the ocean ahead. My legs and arms frantically move in all directions as I scream playfully.

She starts to squeal, which only drives me to complete my actions. Once we reach the shore, she screams playfully, which makes me laugh louder.

We were now at waist deep of water. I scream, "Let go!"

"Let go?"

I look up to see his playful expression has vanished and was replaced with one that I could not read. Almost like disappointment flashed across his face at my words. For that, I hope he never does.

I watch as her smile turned into concern. She knows exactly what I'm thinking. She moves to hide her face in the crook of my neck. Her arms move up with her to embrace me. She then places a light kiss on my collarbone. She knows exactly what I needed from her. Sorry kid, I'm never letting you go. Not even for you.
