Good Morning
My first alarm goes off, awakening me.
Her alarm sounds, pulling me from slumber.
I quickly turn it off, hoping I didn't wake him.
She scurries to turn the machine off, then quickly lets her body relax on mine again.
My eyes burn as I try to open them. I need to see him.
I can feel her eyes on me. My grip on her hip tightens, letting her know I'm awake.
I sigh, defeated. I have awoken him from the only hours of peace he has.
She makes a beautiful sound and I smile with my eyes still closed.
His face makes the most blissful expression. He's always so beautiful.
When her second alarms blares, I groan knowing she will be gone soon.
I take my time to turn off my alarm, not wanting to pry my gaze from him.
Silence comes again and I open my eyes.
His golden orbes pour into mine. The feeling that follows is familiar and welcomed.
Something turns inside me when I find she is still looking at me. I pull her closer to me.
He pulls my frail body closer. I become mush in his arms.
Her body immediately ignites with goosebumps. I love the way she reacts to me.
I put my hand on his cheek and he sighs. I love the way he reacts to me.
I'm the first to speak, "Good Morning."
"Good Morning." My third alarms sings, he won't let me go.
She tries to pull away. I'm in too deep now. I can't let her go.
