Before reading this, I just wanted to say sorry for not updating for a month. Naging busy kasi ako sa school. Natapos na ang JS prom namin, career guidance, at research defense. Next week na rin ang final exam namin. Then after that, magsusuot na ng toga ang tita niyo. Haha.

Anyway, sana ay suportahan niyo pa rin ang storyang ito. Promise, after graduation, mag-uupdate na ako from time to time. I am also planning to finish this story before I go to college. So I hope you would stick with me until the end.

Don't forget to vote guys, please.

Thank you.

Kabanata XXVIII: Bato, bato, pick

DAVE

As I look around, I can see those guards who are helping us. Most of them are injured. If I knew this would happen, I wouldn't have let them drink that juice. We were not supposed to be outnumbered tonight.

Chirs have a few abrasions on his arms which caused by rubbing or scraping his skin against a rough surface. Arya, on the other hand, was trying to block the punches of a girl whose hair is blonde. She is also suffering from incision which was caused by a broken glass.

If I were to describe it, the whole place was a mess.

I went near a man who is trying to throw a vase into one of the guards. I held him by the shoulder and throw punches on his filthy face. He groaned in pain, but then, he also kicked me on my right leg, which caused me to move away a little.

I slammed my fist into his shoulder and so he staggered back. I was about to shove him further when I felt a pointed object being prick onto my neck. I turned around and was faced with a young woman. A woman I once knew, but now, I guess I was so wrong with my knowledge of her.

"Stop fighting, David, it's time to go," Angel beckoned me to move forward.

I feel like my muscles stopped from functioning. I couldn't even move my fingers. My brain worked perfectly but my muscles were not.

I heard Angel laugh. I looked at her. She has changed. I never thought that she was the real witch.

"Don't struggle. It will be futile. Your efforts will be put in vain."

I want to talk back but I couldn't even utter a word. I think these were all caused by that pointed object that was pricked into my neck.

"Boys, take him to the room. Let him witness the bloody battle between his beloved and Celyndra."

Wait, what? Celyndra is also one of them?

As Angel's minions carry me, I met Chris' helpless eyes. They were all trying to get to me, but the minions held them back. I watched them suffer. I couldn't even do anything. These were not supposed to be happening.

The door closed behind us as we entered a room.

I am forced to sit on a couch and the crazy minions tied my hands and legs.

Angel sat on the couch too. As much as I don't want to be near her, but I couldn't move.

A moment later, I heard a high-pitched shout. It was coming from a girl. That was when I realized what I have missed. Hindi ko napansin ang dalawang babaeng naglalaban sa gitna ng silid.
