Kabanata XXX: The Case of Ms. Q (Part 1)

Lahat kami ay hindi makapaniwala sa muling pagbabalik ng Bermuda. The rouge group who does nothing but ruin someone else's life; creating chaos in the academy. The last time we had an encounter was when the student council president was held captive at the MLK club. After that, the group was suspended, however, they are back again.

Wala pa ring tigil sa pag-iyak ang babaeng nagngangalang Qea. Arya is trying to comfort her, and surprisingly, the girl calmed down. Never thought that Arya can do that. As for Dave and Zanaya, mukhang naiinip na sila. Dave was about to talk to Zanaya a while ago, but then, they were interrupted. Wrong timing.

I stared at the girl. She's looking at her surroundings frantically, as if someone would grab her hand and chop it away.

"Mas mabuti sigurong sa headquarters na lang tayo mag-usap, masyado nang marami ang nakikiusyoso," sabi ni Chief.

Para nga namang may shooting ang mga artista sa gym ngayon dahil sa napaliligiran kami ng mga tsismoso at tsismosang estudyante. And who knows, baka nandito na rin ang mga News writer at photojournalist ng The Beacon. Paniguradong papatok na naman ang school paper kinabukasan.

Nauna nang naglakad patungong headquarters sina Chief at Dave. Inalalayan naman ni Arya at Zanaya ang babae.

Pagdating sa headquarters, sinalubong kami ng mga kyuryosong tingin nina Eroll at Monica.

"Oh my gosh! She's that girl?!" exclaimed Monica. She's wearing that shocked look as if she had seen a ghost.

So, nabalitaan na rin pala nila.

"Kagagawan ng Bermuda," I tried to explain.

"Bermuda?! Akala ko, wash out na ang mga langaw na 'yun," wika ni Eroll at sumalampak sa couch.

Naupo na rin kami upang maumpisahan na ang interogasyon.

"Dadalhin mamaya dito ang resulta ng eksaminasyon sa kamay at gift box na galing sa Bermuda. With that, we can have a lead, kung sino ba ang nagpasimuno nito," sabi ni Chief.

"Okay, so Ms. Qea, what exactly happened?" Dave shot her a question as he glance at her way.

"Nagmamadali kami kanina sa pag-alis dahil nabalitaan naming nawawala ang isang kaibigan namin. Then, all of a sudden, a young man from the detective section approached me and gave me the box," panimula niya, nanginginig pa rin ang mga kamay niya.

"Nakuha mo ba ang pangalan niya?"

There's a look of disappointment on her face, indicating that she didn't get the boy's name. She just shook her head and looked down on her lap.

"Wait.. did you just mentioned a while ago about the disappearance of one of your friends?" Zanaya asked, her tone was full of curiosity.

She nodded her head. "My friend has been receiving threats from the group of Bermuda. We were so shocked when she received the first threat at the door step of our dorm, we thought it was just a prank because the group has been suspended not too long ago. Days passed, she received another one. Doon na kami nag-panic."

"Ano ang laman ng threat?"

She heave a sigh before answering, "Ang sabi sa letter, ikakalat nila sa buong campus ang mga compromising photos ni Queenie kung hindi siya baba sa posisyon niya as president of Ms. Q Club."

So Queenie and Qea are part of a club. Based from its name, it can be infered that the members' names start with letter Q.

I highly doubt it if the sole reason for the threat is about the position. There must be something else. Or maybe, the Bermuda group is just a psycho.
