«Shannon»

I wake up and yawned. I did have a rather peacefull night and slept alright so I didn't felt so tired I thought I would be but I still didn't feel as happy like I usually felt.

I stood up and got dressed after a shower. My hair was in waves and I wore a ripped denim and a hoodie with a superman logo on the front. I didn't apply much make up and I slipped on my converse.

I grabbed some sport clothes and shoved it into my sport bag.

I walked down and saw Alex eating some cereal while playing on his phone.

"Morning sunshine." He beamed.

"Hey Peter." I shot him a half smile.

"You ready for school?" He asked and I nodded. His cereal was now finished and I grabbed an apple again and he took a hold of his keys and walked to the door. I followed and he let me pass first.

I walked to his car and got in. He followed shortly and we drove to school and he kept on talking about a bunch of stuff. I just listened and occasionally talked back.

We finally got to school and I got out. We reached each other in front of the car and we walked in together.

I pushed my bag into my locker and took out my books needed for the first few periods.

Max walked to me and had a serious face.

"Hey man, what's up?" Alex joined me and asked him when he reached me.

"Nothing." He replied and glanced at me and I gave him a tight smile.

"Did I miss something? You have also been weird this morning Sil." He looked at me and I shook my head.

"No. Nothing happened. I'm just tired. That's all."I said and Alex smiled at me once he saw the smile a offered.

"Good. Let's get to class." He said happily and grabbed my arm and dragged me to the class.

The whole time during classes, Alex babbled about stuff and I just did what I did in the car.

It was lunch and I walked to the cafeteria and got my food. I then headed to the centre table and sat down next to Cody and Max sat down next to me moment later.

"Hey spy girl." Cody smiled and I shot him a small smile.

"Hey." I replied.

"What's wrong?" He asked with a frown.

"Nothing. Why are you asking?" I ask and take a bite of my food.

"I need to talk to Shannon." Max said loudly and pulled my up by my arm and dragged me out of the room into the hall.

Before we were out of the door I saw Cody looking worried and looking at me and Max. Alex just glanced at me but he knew Max wouldn't do anything.

Cody knows it as well but I think he is worrying about my state rather than Max's actions.

Max pulled me through the people standing in the hall and into an empty classroom. He shut the door and he stood in front of the door. His large figure blocking it from my sight.

I leaned on a table behind me and sighed.

"Are you okay Shannon?" He asked I sighed.

"I'm fine Max." I said and smiled.

"No... you're not fine. We need to do something about what he did. It isn't acceptable!" He began talking loudly.

"It's in the past Max. I'm not bothered by it and neither should you be. Liam is an asshole and it just opened my eyes. It was like a lesson." I said and he shook his head.

"He almost raped you Shannon. Don't you get how serious it is!" He yelled.

"Who did what?" I heard another another voice ask and I stiffen.

Cody.

He appeared from behind Max and stood next to him looking like he wants to commit a murder. His hands are in fists next to his stiff body. His jaw is clenched and eyes dark in anger while his mouth is in a straigh line. There is a vein standing out on his neck and on his arms and that made me swoon but now wasn't the time.

"He just joked... nobo-" I tried to joke but he cut me off.

"Who the fuck did what to you Shannon!" He asked and for once I was actually speechless. I didn't know he would react like this. I remained silent.

"Max. Tell me who did what. Now." He said through gritted teeth.

Max gave me a look to say 'I'm sorry' and I just gave him a smile to let him know it's fine.

"Liam almost raped Shannon yesterday at about seven o'clock." He said and looked down.

I swiched my gaze from Max to Cody to see him shaking with anger. Literally shaking.

I flinched when he took his fist and punched the wall. The sound was loud and even Max looked at him in shock. There was now a huge hole in the wall and there was some blood on his fist.

I jumped off the table and ran over to him and grabbed his fist.

"Why the hell would you do that?!?" I asked him.

He had his eyes closed and was breathing deeply.

I felt hands on my shoulders and I was pulled back from Cody.

"Just let him calm down. He is going to storm out." He whispered and my eyes widen in alarm.

Just as he finished that sentence Cody's eyes snap open and he begins to stomp out of the room. I run after him and follow him where he goes.

He is moving swiftly through the hall and I struggle to keep up with his pace. I think most of the people steps out of his way because he looks like he will kill anyone who is in his path.

I know I would.

I notice where he is headed and I begin to stress. The bell rings but he doesn't seem phased by it as he keeps walking into the direction of my locker.
