"I've never actually thought of them as uninvolved they just do what they love." I say and look at Cody.

"They are traveling around the world and come back every now and then just to say 'Hi' and so on but they wanted me to finish school here and I wanted to complete my school life here as well. They said I was responsable enough to survive on my own... I do get money from them every month to pay the rent, groceries and the electricity, water and then I have money for me... Like my make up, clothes, maybe some movies you know all that fun stuff but they met while traveling.

After 3 years they settled down for a little while and then they got married, had me and while I grew up we would always travel during the holiday because I still had school and they had to work. It was so fun... They were like my own tourist guides and they learned me so much about a bunch of the places around the world. They started to miss the life of packing your stuff and leaving for a new adventure when I actually had to study for my tests and exams. So I said to them that I could get an apartment and they could go travel. They agreed and bought me my car... This apartment and they payed for the furnisher I picked. Then they left to go to Paris, where they met and I kind of lost track of all the places they visited." I explain while he stays quiet and play with my hands.

"Oh... When can I meet them?" he asks taking me off guard once again. Last night when he asked me to meet his parents I was shocked and I swear my heart stopped beating for a second but I tried to play it off as if I didn't mind it at all.

"Well they were planning on coming back during today. They will stay till tommorow night before setting off again." I say and he smiles.

"Well we could go to them after we were at my house." he says and I smile.

"Sure. That would be great." I say as I walk to the closet. I grab some clothes and walk to the bathroom.

"I think Alex's clothes would fit you. I don't think he is here so just go into his room and grab something." I say before closing the door of the bathroom.

After my shower I brush my teeth and get dressed in a pair of white jeans and pretty black top.

I walk out of the bathroom and see Cody spread out lazily on my bed with his eyes closed. He changed into a pair of skinny jeans and a black white t-shirt. He is wearing his shoes from last night and his hair is messy.

I walk over to my mirror and start on doing my hair in curls and my make up. Once I'm done I walk towards him and poke his cheek.

"Are you done already?' he groans and I laugh.

"Yeah, let's go!" I say and pull him up by his arm. He stands and I pull him in for a hug.

"I missed you." I say into his chest and I feel it rumble with laughter.

"I missed you too." I hear him say and he kisses the top of my head and I pull back. I give him a smile and he kisses my lips briefly before pulling me down the stairs and to his car.

We get in and he starts the drive to his house. I know where he lives, heck everyone knows where he lives but this is the first time I actually will go inside.

He stops in the drive way of a very nice looking house. It has wealth written all over it and it just screams 'rich' but I look at Cody and see him smiling at me.

"Don't look at the house like that." he laughs and I sigh.

He gets out and open my door for me. I get out and he grabs my hand, inlacing our fingers.

"You ready?" he asks and I nod my head.

Then he guides me to the front door of the huge building and immediatly a woman opens the door with a bright smile. She shares some of Cody's features and I can tell she is his mother.

"Hi, you must be Shannon. Come in dear." The woman smiles and I offer one back. I walk in and she pulls me into a hug.

"My, my... Cody... You really know how to pick out the best." She smiles as she pulls away and I blush at her words.

"I know." he smiles and hold my waist.

"My name is Helana but you can call me Lana. My husband Simon will be here shortly though. Come follow me." She says and I smile at Cody.

"I can tell she likes you." He says and I smile at that.

We walk behind Lana and she leads us to a big dining room with a long table and plenty of chairs aswell as some vegetables, roasted chicken and salads in the middle of the table.

"Come sit." She says and sit next to the head of the table, which is currently empty. Cody pulls out a chair for me and I smile and murmer a thank you.

He sits down next to me. On the opposite side of his mother, he is seated next to the head of the table aswell and I begin to feel nervous because of his father's absence.

"So... Shannon. What are your plans for the future?" Lana asks me as she puts both her hands on the table.

"Well, my parents are born travelers so I want to take about a year or two off from studies and just tour around the world and see as many things as I can." I say and she smiles as she nods her head.

"That sounds like so much fun. One time me and Simon traveled a bit before he began to work at his current company. We once went to Australia and it was amazing." She smiles and it looks like she was having memories flashing in her mind.

The front door opens and she perks up.

"Here he is now." She says as she stands up and walk to the door.

"Oh damn..." I sigh and feel Cody put his hand in mine and I look at him to see him give me a reassuring smile. And I feel my stress leave my body as if it was never there.

But I'm still scared like shit.
