"Come on Sil!!!"

"I'm on my way! Keep your pants on!" I yell back and rush down the stairs. I have my graduation cap in my hand, the robe over my dress, and my hair done in a nice style as well as my make up.

Yesterday Cody and I went to the zoo. It was a random thought when we woke up and we ended up with no plans for the day so we decided to go anyways. He is now at his house getting ready for the ceremony while I'm rushing my ass off to get ready and into the car so that Alex can drive us to the school.

"Fucking hell Sil. Don't you have a watch?" Alex sighs as he closes the door after I rush through it and run towards the car.

I may have a casual dress on but I'm not wearing heels. There is small steps I have to climb and I really don't want to fail such a simple task in front of all the students and their parents, No thank you. So I went with my Converse.

It doesn't look bad. The dress was like an exstended shirt. It had the numbers 25 on the front and back, it was black but the letters was white. It reached mid thigh and I also paired it with tights.

My hair is straight and make up natural. I kept it rather simple, didn't want to look like a drag queen just to be uncomfortable after the whole event.

Peter drove us to the parking and we got out. I was now a bit more calm but I was a nervous mess under the calm façade.

I looked into my Alex's car window and checked my reflection to make sure the cap was straight and my hair was right. I saw Cody's face join in the reflective surface and I smiled.

"Hey." I turn and give him a hug.

"Hallo beautiful. You ready for this?" He asks and pull away.

"Honestly, No." I breathe out and he chuckles. Alex comes to our side and places his arm onto my shoulder.

He looks into my eyes when I turn to look at him and he has a smirk on his lips.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" I ask surpiciously.

"If it wasn't for me you guys won't be together. You both know that right?" He asks and I look at Cody. His face shows that he understands but I still don't get it.

"Explain." I say.

"Well, Sil didn't even sit at the centre table. She didn't talk to any of the people who sat there, she was in her own world. When I came along she sat with me, she began to mingle with the populars and that's how you both got to talk... You're welcome." he says and I smile once I realise that it's the truth.

"Thank You Peter." I smile and hug him.

"I've thought about it before and wanted to thank you but it always slipped my mind." Cody says and pull me to him.

"It's about to start you guys. Come on." I hear Katy's voice and she appears from behind Alex. He lifts up his arm and she smiles and duck underneath it so that he is resting his arm around his shoulder.

They walk and we follow. My parents even made it to this event and I saw them when I sat down on the seat next to the person after me on the alphabet according to our surnames.

There was a speech in the begining and then after that it all happened rather fast, everyone was called up and before I knew it I was wrapped up in my mother's arms with my dad hugging both of us while we hugged.

"I'm so proud of you my baby girl!" My mom cried and I smiled and we all pulled away.

"I love you guys so much... Can't you stay for a little while longer?" I ask. I've missed my parents so much and I knew that they came with an time limit because they had to go visit my grand dad so I knew I was asking for something that had a slim chance of happening.

"No, we can't. Gran dad is already on his way to the airport. We're sorry baby. We have to get going." My Father says and I nod my head.

"Hi Mrs. and Mr. Anderson." Cody comes from behind and hugs me.

"Hi Cody. It's nice to see you again boy." My Father says and my mother smiles.

"Hallo Cody. Sorry for being in a hurry but we have to get going. Love you guys and see you again soon." My mother says in a fast tone and she gives me and Cody a hug and she kisses me on the forehead and dad kisses me on the cheek and follows mom who is already on her way to the car park.

I sigh. I'm already used to their absence and I know they are excited to go to new places but I can't wait to do it myself, but if I want kids someday, they will travel with or I won't go anywhere. I don't want to be like that, always in a hurry to go somewhere.

"Are you okay?" Cody asks and I smile at him.

"Yes, I'm thankfull I didn't fall on the small steps." I laugh and he chuckles.

"That would have been hillarious." He says and I glare at him in a playfull way.

"Shame on you. You would just sit on your ass and laugh at me." I say.

"I would get up and help you up... After I laughed my ass off." He says and I roll my eyes.

He grabs my hand and inlace our fingers, he then pull me to where Katy and Alex is standing.

"Guess what you guys! We did it!" Katy squeals and hug me.

I laugh and then Max joins our small group.

"You guys, I just wanted to say it was an honor to be each of your friends... I love you all so much." Max says and he looks on the verge of tears.

"Max bro are you already drunk?" Cody asks and Max looks up and give us a lopsided grin.

"Yeah... I'm totally hammered." He slur out. They begin to form a conversation and then Alex comes to me and give me a hug.

"What's this for Peter?" I ask.

"We finally did it Sil." He says and I smile.

"Yes, yes we did Peter." I say and hug him tighter to my body.

"We both achieved our main goal together. We graduated together at North High." He says and I let a tear slip.

"Yes, yes we did."
