«Shannon»
I hear the intercom voice run through the busy airport building, my flight will be boarding in ten minutes and I'm swelled to see all of my best and closest friends here to see me off... Well, most of them.
I stand between Livia and Max who are both talking about something that Max did to Livia's pet cat. Alex is standing in front of me with Katy under his arm, both are smiling at me sadly.
All of the people who I occasionally talked to and mingled with is also here like Henry and James and all those people who we usually hung out with.
Everyone wanted to say goodbye for the last time... Everyone except Cody.
"...And when I looked for Whiskers I found him in the fridge about ten minutes later!" Livia says loudly and I offer her a small smile.
I haven't seen Cody since yesterday when he made an excuse to leave again. But I'm sure he'll show up right... Right?
"Sil, you have to board the plane now." Pater says sadly.
"Right..." I sigh and look at all the people around me.
It's not the end of the world Shannon. Just get over it again like you have to get over everything.
Alex is the first one who pulls me in for a bone crushing hug which I returned. Then it was Max, it sounded like he sniffed and I'm sure he did let a tear escape. The rest followed but I was surprised when Max pulled me in for another hug. Tighter than the one before.
"It'll be okay Shannon, I promise." He whispers and I let out a sob and pull away.
This is really happening.
Alex comes and gives me one last hug and then I walk to the plane in tears, on my way to board for the journey.
Is it supposed to feel this shit when a person follow their dream?

"Are you okay ma'm?" The flight attendend ask me and I look up to her and give her a small nod.
The man in his suit next to me is busy on his laptop and the people around me is doing their own thing while I'm silently crying by myself.
She walks away and I take another tissue and wipe my eyes. My head is throbbing from all the crying and I'm really feeling tired but all that is going through my thoughts is that Cody didn't say goodbye to me.
I guess I wasn't that important to him after all.
Eventually I fell asleep in my chair.

"Come on, Let's get going." Katy smiles up to me as I see the plane lift off from the ground through the huge glass window.
I'm really happy for Shannon, ever since we where small she would take a liking in traveling, she would always like to see new things and learn new traditions.
I always knew she would eventually go and do what she loves, she never gives up on stuff and I admire her for that.
"Yeah, let's leave." I say to my girlfriend who is still under my arm smiling at me like some weirdo.
Since I came back I saw something in Katy that drew me closer to her.
She might have a terrible choice in friendship and people may see her as the biggest bitch on the planet but if you actually get to know her she is one of the nicest people on earth.
"Hey, what is up with Max?" Katy asks as she glances at him who is now sniffing and looks like he's crying into Livia's shoulder.
I shrug and walk further.
Weirdo.
The truth is I actually liked Livia in the begining but then she started with her shit and she turned against Shannon and that means you turn on me to so she made sure that she couldn't be my friend again.
I'm protective over my family members and Shannon is the closest girl I have to a sister, we are closer than anyone in our family and everyone knows we are always together.
When they talk about one of us the other is always mentioned, it was never just Alex or just Shannon it was always Shannon and Alex. And it will always be like that, we may not be together right now and may not be right next to each other but it will be just like the time I was with my family and she was here.
I was pissed when Shannon said that that asshole almost raped her. Hell I was livid and I wanted to kill him but when I heard why Cody beat him up that one day I calmed down a bit but I didn't leave it there.
That guy knows good and well to stay out of my way because I still don't think that Shannon knows that I got into a fight with the bastard but what she don't know won't hurt her, right?
She was so busy with Cody that she didn't notice the loser wasn't at school for at least two weeks. I wrecked him pretty bad and warned him that he should stay away and that I had contacts that could end him but in reality I didn't know anyone who owns a gun, but he doesn't know that.
"Are you okay?" Katy asks me when we get into my car.
"Yeah, I'm fine why do you ask?" I ask her.
"You seem distant." She says and I laugh.
"I've a lot of thinking going up in here," I tap my head, "but enough of that... What are the plans for the rest of the day?" I ask her and she smiles at me.
"I thought you would ask that so I planned that all the guys came to your house and I already ordered some pizza, we just have to stop for some drinks and maybe some snacks then all of us can play some games." She says and I raise my eyesbrows, impressed.
"What's the topings of the pizza?" I narrow my eyes slightly as if I'm testing her.
"Exstra cheese, pepperoni and sweet onions, thick crust." She smiles proudly at her words.
"You're perfect you know That?" I smile at her.
"Yeah, I kinda am." She says in a fake super sassy tone and looks at her nails like she is bored.
Then she lets out a laugh and smiles lovingly at me.
"I love you." She says and I'm shocked for a second. We haven't said the word love to each other yet although I wanted to I just didn't have the balls to do so.
I pull off of the road and turn slightly so that I'm facing her.
"I love you to Katy. So much." I say and kiss her like I am never going to see her again.
