"Who do you think is the hottest in the school?" I ask Livia as we sit outside on the bleachers and watch the guys play football.
Alex and the rest is hitting it off great and he made a bunch of new buddies on his first day.
"Duh... Dave." She says and I frown.
"Nope... Liam beats him by far." I say confidently.
They are twins but don't look like each other. The are quite the opposite of each other.
"Never." She says and I sigh.
"Always." I smile and think of him.
"Hey girls... What are you talking 'bout?" Alex jogs up the steps and sits next to me. He is out of breath and is busy drinking his water.
"Boys." we reply in unison and he rolls his eyes and take another sip.
"Well lets get to class." he says and as if timed the bell rings and all of the guys on the field starts walking to the school building.
The rest of the day went by normally and me and Alex grew even closer than we were before he left. We bonded in every class and made a lot of jokes.
Livia usually had to drive with me and I would drop her off at her house. Today we are here with his car so I have to ask Alex but I don't think he would have a problem.
"Hey Alex can Livia catch a ride with us in the afternoon from now on when we drive with your car?" I ask and he smiles.
"Sure." he says and I nod my head. She is standing at the lockers and I see her talking to a guy.
I couldn't recognise who but when he turned around I saw it was Dave. Oh My Goodness! She talked to Dave!
"Hey. Let's go." I say to her and she nods.
We drop her off at her house and drive to our place.
"So... How do you like your first day?" I ask.
"It was great... I made friends and I have my best friend with me in all my classes. Tomorrow is football try outs and I'm sure I'll get in." he says and turn into our driveway. I open the gate with the remote and also the garage door.
He pulls in and I grab my school bag and hop out as does he.
"That's great." I say and unlock the door and enter the silent house.
"Yes, I'm also gratefull the guys that is going to the try outs tomorrow likes me. Conner is a bit edgy but the others are cool. You'll get along with them aswell. They are much like you and me." he says and I smile and walk into the kitchen.
"Who ever is a friend of you will be my friend aswell." I say and open the fridge. I pull out some microwave meals and place them in to heat up.
"Yeah. They told me they were looking forward to having me on the team. I even suggested that you can train with us. Like running laps and streches. Not the tackling and such but, you get what I mean." he says and I nod my head.
"That would be great. I love watching football and I'm sorta unfit. So it could be my chance to get back on track." I say and pull out the ready meals and hand him one which he serves on a plate. I do the same with my mac and cheese.
We walk to the living room and sit in the couch together. At least we didn't have homework.
The rest of the night we spent watching movies and chatting before going to bed.

When we got to school the following morning Livia was at her locker packing in some books.
"Hey Liv." I hug her and she hugs me back.
"Hey Shannon." She greets and goes back to her locker.
Henry found Alex before he entered school and they said coach wanted to speak to the players that is going to try out this year.
"Did you get a present for Ilise?" She asks and I frown.
Who is Ilise?
"My cousin?" She clears up and I realise I forgot.
"I was planning on going today." I say and she smiles.
"Remember. It's only Thursday today but better early than late." She smiles and walks to her class leaving me behind.
"Okay." I say to no one in particular and I see Liam walk down the hall.
"Hi Liam." I greet and he glances at me.
"Hey Sasha." he greets and I frown.
He walks away before I can say my name is Shannon but I hear someone snicker behind me.
"Sasha?" Alex asks and I roll my eyes.
"Sure. Whatever." I mutter and grab my books.
"You like him don't you?" he asks and I feel my cheeks heat up.
"N-no." I stutter.
"Aww! Little Sil, slash, Sasha has a crush." he exclaims in a baby voice and I get weird looks from people walking by.
"Bugger off." I hiss and he chuckles.
"Let's get to class." he says and pulls me towards maths.
Classes were boring as per usual and it's lunch. We were again at our table. Just me, Livia and Alex.
We made normal chatter until Henry came to us, again. We immediatly stopped talking once he approached.
"Hey Alex, you wanna sit with us?" he asks and Alex looks at me unsure.
"They can join too." he adds and Alex nods his head.
He motions us to come and we both do. Henry leads us to the popular table and we all sit. I'm sandwitched between Alex and Cody. Livia on the other side of Alex and next to her is Max.
She looks uncomfortable.
"So you guys coming to watch try outs?" Katy asks in a high pitched voice. She is a bitchy cheerleader. Normal Queen bee of the school you know all that. But she isn't nearly as bad as her friend Raven. Strange how I actually choose her, the main bitch over her sidekick.
"Why would they... They don't even know what football is." Raven, her best friend scoffs.
I roll my eyes. "Actually I know what football is Raven. And I will be at the try outs after school." I reply and Alex smirks while Raven glares at me.
"Whatev's." She retorts and I roll my eyes once again.
"So... Livia, tell me about you." Max says and she looks at him with wide eyes.
"Uhm... I love dogs." She states and I giggle.
"Really? Me too!" he responds way to over excited.
"They are sooo cute!" She says and I smile.
I catch Cody looking at my smile and I give him a questioning look but he just smirks and look away.
Okay then...
