We pull into Sean's drive way and a car I've never seen before is parked in his driveway. "Shit." Sean mumbles under his breath.
"What?"
"Stay in the car." He parks the car and opens his door.
"What?! No."
"Sam please just stay in the car." He slams the door and jogs up to the door.
"He doesn't get to tell me what to do." get out of the car and climb the steps. I push the door open and find a man that looks a lot like Sean.
"Um excuse me I think you have the wrong house!"
"uh I don't think I do." I roll my eyes and walk farther into the house.
"Sam?!"
"Hi is this who you didn't want to meet me?"
"It's not even that, I didn't want you to meet him."
"Excuse me but I am your father."
"Again not my father sperm donor."
"Sean keep talking to me like that and your out!"
"Oh but you have to take that up with my beloved mother who refuses to leave her children out by themselves. it creates a bad image if I remember right."
"Sean you're testing my patience."
"Yea okay come on Sam we can hang in my room." He starts to climb the stairs and I follow him
"Excuse but I don't want your little friends walking around my house."
"Last time I checked I still lived here." He yelled over the railing.
"I swear you and your sister are going to be the death of me."
We get to Sean's room and it's as big as my entire apartment twice. "Okay this is big."
"I guess but I don't really care it's a room I barely spend my time in so there is no reason for it to be so big."
"I wish I had this much room for me and my mom to live in."
Sean looks at me and smiles. "You will one day." He turns away to a desk in the corner of his room. "I have some work to do I'll just be a minute." He sits down and starts to type away on the keyboard and his eyes dart from one place to another.
"So why do you always use your dad's computer instead of yours?"
"To piss him off."
I nod my head and smile. "What are you doing."
"Checking something."
"Like?"
"I can't really tell you. I don't mean to be secretive but I'm really not a loud to tell anyone or else I could end up in a... sticky situation."
"Okay I guess but this won't be the last time I ask you about it."
"I know, you wouldn't be you if you didn't." He stops typing and his face goes white.
"What?"
"I have to make a call I'll be back." He shuts down his computer and walks out of the room.
I wait a couple seconds until I get up and slide into his desk chair and turn the computer back on. password pops up and my dreams crumble into tiny pieces. I roll my eyes and shut it off.
Why do I feel like everyone knows something I don't. I hear Sean's voice coming closer to the door so I jump up and run back to were I was last.
"What do you mean?! I was just looking at it! Maybe don't post the deals that I didn't authorize! So give her the money back now, if you do something like this again I'm cutting you off!" The door swings open and he walks in. "Sorry I had to handle something really quick."
