Jack could tell something was wrong because you never turned down a chance to beat Zach at anything. He could also tell by the sound of your voice and your expressions that something was up.
"Ok now tell me what's wrong" he said
"It's nothing"
"Obviously it's not nothing, cmon just tell me what's wrong" he said putting his hand on yours giving you butterflies
"I forgot that I only get to be here for a week, I leave for Texas on Sunday Jack, I literally have to go back and leave everything here behind until May" you say starting to tear up
"Just don't go back" jack says
"It's not that easy Jack, I can't just drop out of high school halfway through my senior year"
"Well, it's only 2 months, it's not that bad"
"Yeah but it feels like so much longer and when I'm here life is great and I have no problems but at school everything is just hectic and stressful and I just wanna stay here forever" you said with tears in your eyes and jack pulled you into his chest to comfort you
"I know I know, I remember high school sucked for me and I never wanted to go back after I visited LA but I knew if I dropped out i would regret it. How about this, you can call me everyday until you come back" jack said
"But what about Zach, he'll find out and he'll never let me come back and the time zones are different and my schedule is so busy and I just-" you were saying but jack stopped you
"Hey, if you can't call me i understand, you can text me whenever and I'll answer, I promise" jack said looking into your teary eyes
"I wish you could come to Texas and watch my last soccer game"
"When is it?" Jack asks
"Next Friday is the last district game, then we go into playoffs and I'll be traveling and school and ugh it's just too much"
"Tell Alli to send me some videos of it because I really want to see if you're good"
"Ok I will, but don't get your hopes up I'm not like Messi or anything" you laugh
"Alright, I should probably go to bed now, if I stay down here too long they might get suspicious" jack says
"Ok I'll see you in the morning"
"Goodnight Maddie" jack says as he gives you a kiss on the forehead walks out of the living room
"Goodnight Jack" you say and turn off your lamp and get on your phone. While you were scrolling through Instagram you see videos of a really cool soccer field that has a training course set up on it. You find it and save the address so you can possibly visit it. Your coach said he wanted y'all to practice over the break so you would be prepared for your last game. You fell asleep after watching a few more videos. When you woke up you heard all the boys in the kitchen. You got up and joined them.
"Well goodmorning Maddie, looks like you slept good" Daniel said looking at your hair
You looked at your reflection in the microwave and laughed
"You know when you have this much hair, it's hard to wake up with it looking as good as it did when you fell asleep" you say
"Trust me I know the feeling" jack says
"Jack your hair never looks good" Zach says
"Facts" Corbyn said
"Woah woah woah, I didn't ask to be attacked like this" jack says and then everyone laughs
"So what's for breakfast because I'm hungry" you ask
"Well we were actually waiting on you to get up and get ready so we could go eat so we'll let you know when you're ready" Zach says
"Alright I'll go get dressed" you say and then you run up the stairs to Zach's room. You quickly get dresssed. You are wearing some black leggings, a tight fit cropped white adidas shirt, a jean jacket, and some Nike's. You fix your hair and leave it down showing it's natural waves. You throw on some quick concealer and mascara and then you go back downstairs.
"Ok I'm ready" you say
"Well took you long enough" Zach says
"I was literally up there for 15 minutes, most girls would take over an hour" you say back
"Alright whatever, the Uber's here let's go"
You all pile into the Uber. This time you sit between Daniel and Jonah.
"Hey Zach I forgot to ask you, do you know where that giant park is with the nice soccer field is?"
"Yeah it's like a 10 minute drive from the house, why?"
"Well I haven't trained in a while and I really need to because we have a pretty big game coming up, I brought my cleats" you say
"Well you can't go alone or Mom and Dad would kill me and I'm busy today working on music" Zach says
"I can go with her" Jack says
"Absolutely not" Zach says sternly
"Zach why not, it's not like we're gonna do anything, if anyone else were to go with me you wouldn't care" you reply
"I would just feel better if you and Jack didn't go alone" Zach says
"Well who else can go with us?" You say looking around at the other boys
"I mean I guess I can go, I don't really have any other plans today and I like that park" Jonah says
"Ok great, Zach is that okay?" You ask
"Yeah that's fine but Jonah don't let them out of your sight"
"Don't worry Zach, I won't do anything that you wouldn't approve of" jack says
"Alright" Zach says
The Uber pulls up at the restaurant and y'all eat and have a good time. Afterwards y'all go back to the house where you put your hair up into a messy bun and your normal tennis shoes and some nike shorts. You took off your Jean jacket and just wore the same shirt. You go back downstairs and find Jonah and Jack waiting for you. They both changed into something a little bit better for working out and playing soccer. Jonah grabbed the keys and drove to the store because you forgot you didn't have a soccer ball with you. You grabbed one and then headed to the field. Nobody was there which was perfect because you didn't want any fans interrupting your workout. You started out with a quick 4 laps around the field.
"Maddie how can you do this as a warm up" Jonah said
"I know...I'm dying" jack added
"I'm used to long distances and I run 5 days a week most of the time" you say laughing
"Time for some actual soccerrrr!! let's gooo" you say and run over by the goal with the ball.
"Hey can one of y'all kick the ball to me so I can practice shooting?" You ask
"Yeah I gotchu" jack says and slowly jogs over to you
"Ok just stand over there and I'll kick the ball to you and you just have to kick the ball lightly out infrared of me so I can shoot it" you say showing Jack where to stand and what to do
"Okay I think I got it" jack says nodding his head
After a few failed try's Jack finally got the hang of it. Your shots were beautiful and you made almost all of them. Jonah passed to you a few times also but he mainly just sat on the park bench and watched y'all.
"Hey jack wanna play 1 on 1?" You asked
"Umm I know I'll lose if I say yes"
"Pleasseee I need to practice dribbling and stuff, I don't have the normal people I usually would to run other drills" you say with puppy dog eyes
"Ok fine but please don't kill me" jack says
"I'll try not to" you say with a smile
