"Hey guys" You said as you sat down
"Hey" they all replied
"So What did y'all even have to talk about?" Zach asked
"Oh yeah I forgot to tell you, Allie had a great idea that me and Jack could sing a duet on my channel and I've also seen several comments asking for a duet and we worked on songs that we could sing" you said
"Yeah, we went through a lot of songs" Jack added
"Well did y'all find one?" Jonah asked
"Yeah, it's called lucky" Jack said
"I love that song" Daniel said
"Me too" Corbyn said
"Yeah, it works really well with our voices and it's just a good song overall" you said
"Well that's good, I can't wait to hear it" Daniel said
"We're recording tomorrow, I'm gonna grab my mic from the house and take it over to her place so we can both have a mic" Jack said
"Alrighty" Zach said

Y'all continued to talk and then your food came. Y'all ate and talked and eventually everyone was done and leaving.

"I'll see y'all later, I gotta take Maddie home, I'll text y'all when I leave her house" Jack said and waved to them and they waved back. You loaded up into his car and he began to drive but it wasn't towards your house.
"Jack where are you going?" You asked in confusion
"Well I thought we could take a little detour and go to this cool place" Jack said and places his hand on your thigh
"Where at?"
"It's a surprise" Jack said and smiled at you
"It's not like I've ever been there, I've only lived here for a month maybe" you said
"Well I don't know, you'll just have to wait until we get there" Jack said
"Fine, I guess I'll wait" you said and rolled your eyes causing you and Jack to laugh

Y'all drove for about 10 more minutes and then Jack finally parked his car.

"This is it" Jack said and unbuckled his seat belt and so did you
"Well, I feel like I might have actually been here" you said still trying to figure out where you were. The sun was about to set and Jack was trying to hurry.
"Okay we have to hurry, follow me" Jack said and grabbed your hand and started walking quickly up the hill

You held Jack's hand and quickly followed him. The hill wasn't super steep but it was still sort of tiring. Nobody was there except for you and Jack. You eventually made it to where Jack was leading you to, and it was the place y'all went when you first got to LA and had the photo shoot. There was an area set up with a blanket and a few pillows and Jack led you to them and y'all sat down. You could see the sunset perfectly from here and it was the most beautiful thing you've ever seen.

"Jack this is beautiful" you said
"I got the boys to come up here and set this up and make sure nobody was going to be here so me and you could be alone" Jack said and you looked at him and smiled
"I love you" You said to Jack
The sun started to set and it was amazing. There were all different colors of red and orange and pink.
"I love you to, which is why I brought you here. I wanted to ask you out in someplace special so I thought why not the place I first fell in love with you. So, Maddie Herron, will you be my girlfriend?" Jack asked and you blushed
"Oh my gosh, Jack, of course I will" you said and kissed him. After y'all kissed you gave him a long hug and eventually pulled apart
"I've been planning this for a while" Jack said
"So do the boys know about it?" You asked
"Yeah, they've known for a few days"
"Wait so can we tell the fans or is that off limits?" You asked
"Well you know, since Tyler isn't out manager anymore, we have new rules and we can be more open about our relationships. I don't think we should flat out say we're dating but we can post a picture together or something"
"Okay, that's sounds good to me" you said

Jack hugged you from behind and it was a super cute picture. You posted it on your Instagram story and drama accounts were already re posting it. You and Jack continued to watch the sun set and then you looked at the stars. Y'all were laying on the blanket and it was the best feeling in your life. You loved being able to finally let people know that you loved Jack. Eventually you and Jack decided to go ahead and go. Y'all walked back to his car hand in hand and when you got into the car you got a text from Allie.

A: did you accidentally post that pic of you and Jack on your story?! It's blowing up
M: no I posted it on purpose, Jack and I are official
A: no way! Explain when you get home!
M: I will 100%, I'm on my way rn
A: see you soon
M: c ya

You put your phone down and turned on some music. You and Jack were holding hands and singing together. Eventually you arrived at your apartment and Jack walked you to your room.

"I'll see you tomorrow and we can record our duet" Jack said
"Alrighty, I'll text you whenever I'm ready for you to come over"
"Okay sounds good"
"Bye, I love you" you said
"I love you too, bye" Jack said giving you a quick hug and kiss.

You went into your apartment where you found Allie sitting on the couch watching TV. Once she saw you she turned off the TV and motioned for you you sit down beside her obviously wanting you to talk about you and Jack.

"Explain" she said
"Okay so after we went to eat, Jack took me to the place we all took pictures over spring break and he took me into that cute little place I told you about and we watched the sun set and he asked me out, it was so cute and it was amazing" you said
"Awww that's adorable, what about your Instagram picture?"
"Well since Tyler isn't the manager anymore, they can be more open about their relationship but me and Jack both agreed that we shouldn't confirm it or anything but just hint so I posted that on my story and tomorrow we're singing our duet and posting it" you said
"Oh my gosh I'm so happy for y'all, everything is finally happening and it's beautiful" Allie said and y'all laughed
"I'm gonna go get some rest, I have a long day of singing tomorrow" you said
"Okay, Goodnight"
"Goodnight" you replied and went into your bedroom.

You changed into some sleep shorts and an oversized T-shirt. You took off your makeup and climbed into bed. You checked your social media which was full of pictures of you and Jack and you honestly loved it. You looked through some more things and then drifted off to sleep.
