You were confused about why Jack was suddenly looking very uncomfortable and angry

"Hey I was just sitting with some of my girlfriends over there and we really liked your outfit. It's so cute" the random girl said
"Oh..thanks" you said
"Hey Jack" the girl said which confused you.
"Hey" Jack said awkwardly and he looked angry
"You know him?" You asked the girl
"Yeah we go way back..actually we ended not too long ago. Has Jack not told you about me?"
"No, I don't think so" you said now giving Jack a look
"Oh well that's too bad" the girl said
"Now isn't a good time Chloe" Jack said
"Oh I'm so sorry were y'all on a date" She asked
"No, just hanging out, but we can't do it with you here" Jack said still sounding angry
"Oh okay well maybe I'll see you guys around later. Nice to see you again Jack" Chloe said and waved bye as she walked back to her table laughing along with her friends.

Jack looked angry. You could tell he didn't like the girl by the way he spoke to her and acted when she was near.

"Maddie can we talk in private please?" Jack asked in a very serious tone
"If you're going to be explaining what the hell just happened then yes because you have a lot to do" You said
"Maddie, I promise it's nothing bad" Jack said and you followed him outside which was much more private and quieter

You were confused about what just happened but you just let Jack talk and explain everything that had just went down.

"Okay Maddie I didn't want you to find out about her this way and especially not now but I guess it was gonna happen sooner or later" Jack said
"Oh gosh" you said and crossed your arms
"Ok so you know how I said I had cheated on Florida girl with LA girl? Well LA girl and I talked a few months after everything happened which wasn't anything serious. I never had any feelings for her but I guess I was just wanting someone to talk to. We rarely hung out and when we did it was just to eat and talk even though she did most of the talking. After a while of talking with her I decided to stop because we just didn't have any connection. She agreed and everything was okay but then she saw our posts and thought that I left her for you. I told her the whole story and she said she understood but then she went and posted about it all on Twitter. She never said my name but most of the fans figured it out pretty fast and it just spread from there. I explained the whole situation to her multiple time so she knows the truth but the lies get her more clout so she just keeps telling people that I'm just a cheater even though we had nothing and I never talked to you until two weeks later." Jack said
"Woah...that was a lot" You said
"Yeah but also when I told her we shouldn't talk anymore, she said she was going to pretty much ruin my next relationship, so yeah I just wanted to make sure you knew everything before she started too much stuff"
"Woah okay, so does she know we're dating?" You aksed
"No and I don't plan on her knowing. Just don't worry about what she says because it's not true" Jack said
"Okay do you still wanna go back in and finish?" you asked
"Yeah, if she makes you uncomfortable just let me know and we can leave okay?"
"Okay" you said and y'all walked back in

You continued your game and then Chloe was leaving and she yelled bye to y'all and waved. Y'all waved back but had fake smiles. Shortly after, your game was over and you decided to leave and go back to your apartment and hang out. You arrived and you and Jack cuddled on the couch and talked for a while. You checked your phone and you had an unexpected DM from Chloe. You showed it to Jack who told you to see what it said. You opened it and Chloe said "Hey girl! It's Chloe from the bowling ally! I just wanted to let you know that Jack isn't all that you think he is and he'll switch up on you in an instant. I've learned from experience...any ways have a great day!!!"

Jack was reading it and scoffing the whole time. He showed you all of the texts that he had with her because he knew they would come in handy one day. You read through them and everything Jack said was true. From the looks of the texts, Chloe seemed to love the idea of not talking more than Jack did. You knew that she was lying.

"Who does she think she is? She literally knows what happened" Jack said
"Should I answer her?" You said
"Yeah go for it so if she starts acting a fool we have proof" Jack said so you started typing your reply which read
"Hey Chloe! So I just wanted you to know, Jack has informed me of everything that has happened and I am aware that you got several things twisted. I just want you to know that Jack has changed since his first mistake but I believe and trust that he will not do it again."

You sent it and after a few minutes she replied something that couldn't have been farther from the truth. It said
"Well when he and I dated, he started talking to someone new and dropped me randomly. He knew we had something. We always hung out and we almost even took our relationship to the next level. I know you don't want to believe that Jack would do any of this but he left me for another girl even though our relationship was doing great"

The whole time Jack was reading this he was becoming angrier and angrier. You texted her another reply.
"Well from what I've heard, you and Jack never dated and really never hung out. You only went to eat a few times and you did all the talking. I've seen the texts myself and you ended on very good terms, in fact, you seemed to be glad that y'all weren't going to talk. Now, I would appreciate it if I could spend my time with my friends and Jack so have a nice day. Thank you"

You sent it and got no response. You and Jack left the situation alone and took a nap on the couch together. Once you woke up, you checked your phone to see what was happening on social media. Once you got on Instagram, you looked at the pictures you had been tagged in and you were shocked at what you were seeing.
