The officer finished reading through the texts and watching the videos. You also went to your Twitter and showed him all of her tweets. He was stunned about how she was saying so many lies and how she thought y'all actually couldn't get the security footage.
"Well this girl seems very obsessed with telling lies about you two, so I don't want you to block her or anything because I need to see other things she posts. I'll give you guys my number and then you can send me screenshots of the texts or whatever. I'll run by the store after I leave here and I can get the footage and watch it just to make sure. Also, if you could send me the pictures and videos, I need to put them in a file and save them. And if the security camera proves you two right, we can give her a serious fine which will teach her the lesson and stop her from hurting your images" the officer said after y'all talked about everything
"Okay, that sounds amazing, thank you so much for helping us out" you said and Jack agreed
"No problem, I'll go ahead and head over to the store and grab the footage and I'll call you guys back when I see results" the officer said and stood up and you and Jack stood up also
You, Jack, and the officer walked to the front door and said goodbye to the officer
"Once again thank you so much, we'll let you know if she posts anything else" Jack said
"No problem and I'll watch for your texts" the officer replied
He got in his car and drove off to get the footage. You and Jack walked back in and both had huge sighs of relief. You walked into the living room and sat in the couch together.
"I'm glad that's over with, now after he watches the footage, our name can get cleared and we don't have to be so stressed" you said and jack agreed
"Yeah now we can focus on things likeeee your birthday" Jack said
"Oh my gosh, that's tomorrow" you said and jack laughed
"Yeah it sure is, you're going to be 18" Jack said
"Ahh that's crazy" you said and then paused
"Wait....So is Zach....oh my gosh" you said
"He's still mentally 7" Jack said and you and him laughed
"Wait, I have to get Zach a present" you said
"You haven't gotten him one yet?" Jack asked
"Jack, I barely remembered my birthday was tomorrow, much less Zach's present" you said
"Well let's go get him one" Jack said and you agreed
You and Jack walked to the door and Jack yelled to the boys to tell them the officer was gone and you and him were going somewhere. They all screamed back so you and Jack got into his car and drive around tying to decide where to go.
"I don't know what to get him" you said
"You're his twin sister and you don't know what to get him?" Jack asked
"Well I have an idea but it's super expensive and I would have to make several phone calls" you said
"Well what is it?" Jack asked
"Well I could get me and him plane tickets to Texas so we could visit with our family and his friends" you said
"That sounds like an amazing idea, just do it" Jack said
"Okay well I need to call my mom and Zach's friends to make sure they know, and they could probably surprise him at the airport" you said
"Well what are you waiting for, let's go to your apartment and buy the tickets and make phone calls" Jack said and you agreed so he did a U turn and went to your apartment.
You arrived and called your mom and talked with her about the idea and she thought it was amazing. She said she could call Zach's friends parents to make sure they were all available, so you ended the phone call so she could call and then you got out your laptop. You checked for tickets to Dallas, Texas for tomorrow and there was only one pair of tickets beside each other. You bought them and then you texted Allie and told her the plans. She thought they were a great idea and she decided to fly down the day after y'all so you and her could visit your friends. You immediately called Zach he could go ahead and pack his bags.
"Hellooooo" Zach said
"ZACH I HAVE TO TELL YOU SOMETHING IMPORTANT" you yelled into the phone and laughed
"OUCH MY EARS WHAT DO YOU WANT" Zach said
"Well it's your birthday present, do you want it now so you can prepare or do you want it tomorrow but you'll have to wake up earlier to get it and prepare for it" you asked
"Uhhhh just come over and we can exchange gifts now, I don't like to be rushed or woken up early"
"Okay well me and Jack will be there in about 15 minutes" you said and hung up
You printed off the receipt from the tickets and put it in a birthday sack and then went down to jack's car. You and Jack left and went back to the boys house. You pulled into the drive way and told Jack to start recording when you have him his gift. Jack agreed and then you got out of the car and went in the house.
"I'm here!" You screamed hoping Zach would hear and come down.
He ran down the stairs with a bag in his hands.
"Okay do you wanna go first?" Zach asked
"No I wanna save mine for last" you said. Zach handed you your bag and Jack went ahead and started recording just Incase something exciting happened.
You opened up the bag and pulled out a necklace with half of a heart that said "Twins true bond" and at the bottom it said "always &".
"Wait, where's the other half" you asked and Zach pulled a necklace out from his shirt where it was tucked in
"I beat you to it" Zach said
"Awwww, I love it" you said and gave Zach a hug
"Now if we are ever apart like when I'm on your or something, we'll always have a little bit of each other" Zach said
"Thank you so much Zach" you said and pulled out of the hug
"Okay now for my turn" Zach said and you looked at Jack to make sure he was recording and he gave you a nod to tell you he was.
You handed Zach the sack and waited for him to take out all of the tissue paper. He finally did and found the piece of paper. He took it out and read what it said and immediately covered his mouth in shock. He looked up at you and you were smiling. He quickly gave you the biggest hug ever and even lifted you off the ground a few inches.
"Maddie, you didn't have to" Zach said putting you down
"I wanted to though, and besides, I miss our family and friends" you said
"Wait so do we leave tomorrow?" Zach asked and you nodded
"Oh my gosh when do we come back?" Zach asked
"Saturday" you replied (it was Sunday)
"Oh my gosh I have to pack" Zach said and ran up the stairs
"Thank you so much Maddie!" Zach said as his voice got quieter as he went up the stairs and into his room.
Jack stopped recording and you and him went back to your house so you could pack.
