Falling// Jack Avery

Jack gets on his side of the field and you get on yours. You let him start with the ball since he was new and it was easier. He wasn't very good at dribbling so you got the ball pretty quickly you dribbled past him and he stayed close behind you. You got to the goal and scored. You did a little victory dance and jack just laughed.
"I didn't think you were gonna be able to keep up with me" you say
"Hey I'm not completely not athletic, I play basketball sometimes" he says
"I didn't know you played basketball" you say surprised
"Yep, and Jonah used to play baseball"
"No way"
"Yes way" jack says with a smile
"Well I can't play baseball but maybe we can 1 on 1 in basketball sometime, I used to play in middle school" you say
"Alright maybe this summer" he says with a smile making you melt
"Well, how about we finish this little soccer match, first one the 5 wins" you say
"No fair you already have a point and I've never played soccer before" jack exclaims
"That can be our warm up round. I'll try to go easy on you" you say and smirk
Jonah joins y'all and decided to be the referee. You start off with the ball but then jack gets it. You eventually get it back and score. Y'all kept playing and you were both having a blast. Jonah didn't call too many fouls but he did give jack an imaginary yellow card for no reason and it was pretty funny. Jack scored 2 and you had 4. You were on the way to the game winning score and then jack tried to steal the ball from you and you both fell. Jack was on top of you but he soon got off when Jonah started whistling like a ref.
"Woah woah woah, too close!" Jonah yells
"Oh my gosh Maddie are you okay? I didn't mean to make you fall" Jack says out of breath
"Yeah yeah I'm fine, I'll probably just have a little scrape and bruise nothing serious." You say also out of breath
You sit up and look at your knee which his a bruise forming and a scratch on it and your stomach has a turf burn on it from sliding. Jack held out his hand and helped you up.
"Well I think you won" jack says
"Yeah that right there got you a red card" Jonah says making you laugh
"I'm so sorry, I swear I wasn't trying to make you fall" jack apologizes again
"It's fine I swear, let's go ahead and go home tho, I need to ice this bruise so it doesn't swell"
"Ok, I think I have a bruise on my knee but it's not bad" jack said
Y'all drove home and when you got there you heard Zach and Daniel and corbyn singing and playing instruments. You went to the freezer and got some ice and put it in a bag and held it to your stomach. You went to the music room with the rest of the boys and Jonah and Jack followed. When they saw you walk in they paused and saw you with the ice
"What happened Maddie?" Daniel said
"Oh just a turf burn it's not that bad" you took the ice off and showed the boys
"That looks painful, what the heck happened?" Corbyn said
"Yeah what happened" Zach added
"Oh me and jack were playing 1 on 1 and I tripped over jack when he was getting the ball from me, it was kinda funny"
"Wait why 1 on 1? Where was Jonah? Did he leave y'all alone? Why was jack that close to you?" Zach started asking
"Woah calm down, Jonah was tired from the warm up so he just watched and he was our referee, and Zach you played soccer, you know you have to get close to get the ball" you replied
"Ok sooo nothing happened" Zach asked again
"No, we just played soccer" you reassured Zach
"Good"
"Maddie how long have you been playing soccer?" Corbyn asked
"Well I started when I was four and played until I was 8 and then I danced and then I quit that and played 2 more years of soccer and then I quit for 2 years and played volleyball and basketball and then I quit that and played 4 more years of soccer sooooo however many that is" you say and smile
"Woah woah wait did you say you danced?" Jonah said
"Yeah why?"
"Because you can literally do anything, you can sing, play an instrument, and dance, that's crazy" Jonah said
"Well I only danced for 3 years" you said
"Yeah but 2 of those years you did competitive dancing" Zach added
"Woah you must have been good" Daniel said
"Well, I mean I guess so. They sent home a letter asking me to be on Elite so I gave it a shot" you said
"Wow" Jack said
"What can't you do Maddie?" Daniel asked
"For real, you literally do everything" corbyn adds
"Oh um I can't speak Spanish very well" you say
"Do you know any Spanish?" Daniel asks
"Yeah but I got out of Spanish after Spanish 2, I couldn't handle it" you say
"Oh well at least you know a little bit of Spanish" jack says
"Yeah"
"Wait so what else are you good at?" Corbyn asks
"Umm I like to paint and draw" you answer
"No way, are you good at it??" Daniel asks
"Let me show you some of my stuff" you say and take out your phone. You show them some of your paintings and drawings and they loved them. Y'all continued to talk about hobbies and what y'all were good at. After that you went and took a shower because you were smelly after soccer and you felt gross. When you got done, you threw on some shorts and a T-shirt from school and some fluffy socks because why not. You went downstairs and you heard the boys in the living room so you went in there.
"Maddie wanna go have a photoshoot? Our friend Zach wants to take some pics in this dope area he found" Daniel asks
"You mean do I want to go watch y'all get your pictures taken? Because I prefer to be behind the camera" you reply
"No of course not, if you come you have to get your picture taken" Jonah said
"Well then I'm not coming"
"Actually you have to, I already told Zach you were coming and I can't leave you here alone" Zach says and smiles
"Fine but I'm gonna have to get ready and it may take a while, my hair has to air dry" you say and roll your eyes
"Ok well we'll be waiting. We still have to get dressed" Zach says
"Trust me I'll take much longer than you" you say
You go back upstairs and then look in your bag for something photoshoot worthy. You throw on a pair of black ripped jeans, some swirly checkered vans, and a cropped graphic tee and a jean jacket. You leave your hair down and wavy. You put on some simple natural makeup. You do one last check in the mirror and then head downstairs.
