The whole drive home you were trying to hold back your tears. You got to your house and called Zach because you didn't get a chance to talk to him on your way out. He answered the phone and you tried to hold back the tears.

"Maddie where are you?" Zach frantically asked
"I'm at my house. I couldn't stay and talk to Jack anymore. I just wanna go to sleep and wake up and have this all be a dream" you said and your tears started coming out
"Well Jack isn't happy about the situation either, he ran up the stairs and when we asked what happened he said "I should've forgiven her" and locked his door. Jonah is trying to talk to him right now but he's just crying a lot" Zach said
"Well, he said I didn't care as much as he thought I did and to hear that after everything I've done really just pissed me off and I couldn't take it anymore. I'm just gonna stay here for the night and I'll talk to Jonah later about Jack" you said
"Okay do you want me to come over for anything?" Zach asked
"No, I'm just gonna take a nap, I'll call Jonah when I wake up" you said
"Okay, I love you" Zach said
"I love you too, bye"
"Bye" Zach said and you hung up

You got in your bed and cried for a little bit just thinking about how fast your relationship with Jack went from being amazing to not even being able to talk to him without crying. You fell asleep and woke up at 1:00pm. You felt a lot better but you still didn't feel good about you and Jack. You called Jonah to ask him about Jack because after what Zach said you wanted to check in. It took a minute but he finally answered.

"Hey Mads" Jonah said
"Hey Jo, Zach told me that Jack was crying earlier and you were talking to him and I just wanted to see if he was okay" you asked
"Well, he was crying and he was really upset with himself because of what he said to you and he was going on about how good you were to him and how he doesn't deserve you and he had a chance to fix things but messed up and should've taken the chance he had and just stuff like that" Jonah said
"Oh wow well, can you tell him to call me please." You said
"Yeah I'll go try" Jonah said
"Okay thanks bye" you said and hung up.

You sighed and rolled over in your bed thinking about what you could say to Jack. Used to you wouldn't have to think because it just naturally came to you. You tried not to overthink everything and eventually you felt your phone buzzing. You looked down and saw a name you hadn't seen in what felt like forever. Jack. You took a deep breath and answered it.

"Jack?" You said
"Hey Maddie" Jack said sounding like he had been crying
"Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to come over and talk because I've had a nap and I feel a little bit better and I'm ready to fix all of this because I miss you like a lot" you said
"I'll be over in 15" Jack said and you sort of smiled
"Okay, Bye"
"Bye" Jack said and you hung up.

You went into the living room to wait on Jack so you turned on TV and went through your social media. 15 minutes later you heard a knock on the door, so you got up and opened it to see Jack's tear stained face. You motioned for him to come in and he did and you shut the door behind him. Before y'all even got the chance to sit down, he started talking.

"Maddie, I just wanted to apologize. I shouldn't have said what I did because I know you care a lot and I really don't deserve it all, and I had a chance for us to get better but I blew it and I'm just so sorry" Jack said
"I forgive you, we both messed up and now we have to just leave that behind. Every relationship goes through some hard times and this is just one bump in the road that we gotta leave in the past" you said
"I agree" Jack said and let out a small smile

You didn't wait a second and you gave him a big hug which felt so nice. This is one of the main things you had been missing for the past week. Y'all hugged for a few minutes and then let go.

"I love you Jack" you said
"I love you too Maddie, I love you so much" Jack replied
"Can we go get food?? All I've had is coffee from this morning" you said and Jack let out a laugh
"Yeah, lets go" Jack said

You ran to your room and put on some shoes and went back into the living room. You grabbed Jack's hand and walked downstairs to his car hand in hand like nothing ever happened. You went to a nice little restaurant and you ordered a burger. You and Jack talked about everything that happened while you were at home and it was so nice to just be able to talk to him again. You and Jack got your food and ate and talked and just enjoyed your time together. Afterwards, you and Jack drove back to the boys house and when you got there all the boys were in the kitchen. When you and Jack walked in together, the boys knew everything was back to normal.

"YESSS" Corbyn said and started clapping
"What?" Jack said
"I was going to cry with you if you and Maddie didn't fix things. You have no idea how much I stan your relationship" Corbyn said and everyone laughed
"So Maddie are you staying here now while Allie is gone and you and Jack are better?" Daniel asked
"Oh I don't know, I would have to pack a bag and I don't really want to...I should be fine" you said
"I can stay with you" Jack suggested and Zach gave Jack a look and shook his head no
"Okay I don't wanna act like old Zach butttt I don't think that's a good idea. I let y'all date but staying with each other is a little bit different" Zach said
"Cmon Zach, we'll probably just watch movies or something, we won't do anything bad" you said
"I think they'll be fine" Jonah said
"Yeah, but the band could use a new member so maybe y'all could help out" Corbyn said and everyone laughed and Zach hit him
"NO" Zach yelled and everyone laughed even more
"I'm not gonna be doing any of that so don't worry, I promise" you said
"Okay fine, but if y'all do something I'm gonna beat up the both of you" Zach said
"Okay, we promise" Jack said and you agreed

You and Jack ran upstairs and he packed his bags for the next few days. After an hour of packing, he was finally finished so he brought his bags downstairs. It was around 5:00 and the boys were about to go eat. They invited you and Jack to come but since you had already eaten, you chose to just go ahead and go to your apartment. You said goodbye to the boys and drove home.
