You checked your Instagram and found people reposting a tweet from Chloe. It was pretty much trashing you and Jack and it was completely false. You had sooo many DMs from people asking about it and your friends from Texas and the club had even texted you about it. The post read
"So I saw Jack Avery and Maddie Herron today at the bowling alley and can I just say they are some of the rudest people I've ever met. Some of y'all know I've had a rough background with Jack and I simply just tried to warn Maddie about it but she was extremely rude and used lots of profanity with me. I'm not trying to start anything but I just thought everyone should know that some people are fake to others and don't always believe what you see. Jack's fake around Maddie and Maddie is fake around fans."

You were so mad when you were reading it. You immediately woke Jack up and showed him the post and he soon became just as angry as you. You both decided not to address this publicly so you DMed Chloe.

M: Hey, I just saw your post and I don't remember any of that being true. I never used any profanity at all, and wasn't rude in any sort of way. Also I would just like to remind you that you and Jack don't have a rough background. You and him rarely hung out and rarely talked. You both agreed to stop talking to each other. And one last thing, Me and Jack are not and will never be fake to each other. We always tell each other what's going on and how we feel no matter what. And also, the biggest lie you could ever say is that I'm fake to the fans. The fans are amazing. They have helped me build confidence and start singing on YouTube. I'm grateful for every single one of them whether they've been here 5 years or 5 minutes. Please do not spread rumors and if you have a problem with me, text me instead of everyone on social media. In fact, texting me instead of posting would be a lot easier for the both of us. You would get a quicker response and all of our personal business would not be on the internet. Anyways, hope you have a nice day!

After you sent your outrageously long text, you screenshoted all of your previous messages just Incase she deleted them to erase the proof. After about 10 minutes of waiting, you received a DM back.

C: Maybe if I thought I could talk to you without being harassed and bullied I wouldn't have to publicly message you. You are a horrible role model and so is your boyfriend.
M: I have never harassed or bullied you like you said I have. Maybe there was a misunderstanding but I don't know where any of this could have risen randomly from a very small talk from bowling. Anyways I would appreciate it if you could keep the rumors and lies off of social media! Thx

Chloe never answered and you back but you She still had her post up about you and Jack. You decided that something needed to be said so you posted on Twitter.

"I'm not trying to start something with anyone or bring my problems to social media. I just wanted to say that someone has said some things about me and Jack on social media, and I just want y'all to know that none of it is true. We had a small conversation in person that consisted of a hi nice to meet you and a goodbye and then I received a DM later that said completely false things so I nicely told her the truth (which she knows but refuses to tell people). I don't want to start anything with anybody and I don't plan on posting about the situation anymore but I just wanted y'all to know that I do love y'all and I do appreciate everything you do for me and I absolutely love y'all so much. Anyways I hope y'all have a great day and don't let anyone bring you down!❤️"

You posted it and people were all on your side. You got several questions about the whole situation but didn't answer any. Chloe didn't say anything else about the situation and you were relieved that it was over now. Jack decided to just post a screenshot of your post on his story because he didn't want to post much about it and make it super public. It was now around 5:00 so you and Jack decided to go shopping and get some food. You got in his car and drove to pacsun. You and Jack decided to try on a few clothes and then Jack decided he would just helped you choose what to buy because he didn't see much that he had to have. You needed some more swim suits because the ones you had were old and ugly and you needed some good and fresh ones. You grabbed several and tried them on to show to Jack. The first one was a high waisted, kinda cheeky bikini with a floral bando top. You opened the dressing room door and Jack was waiting outside.

"Damn baby you look good" Jack said and you blushed and laughed
"So you like it?" You asked
"Hell Yeah, I love it" Jack said
"Well I guess I'll buy it then" you said and went back into your dressing room

You tried on several more and Jack obviously loved them all but you aren't rich so you only got two of them. As you and Jack were leaving, you saw a familiar face. It was Chloe.

"Oh hey guys, didn't expect to see you here" Chloe said. Jack was just looking down at his phone for a minute and then put it in his pocket.
"Oh hey Chloe how are you?" Jack asked
"Oh I'm doing great, and Maddie I saw your post" Chloe said
"Oh yeah, I just wanted everyone to know the truth" you said
"Well, nobody will know if it's the truth without proof and you don't have any" Chloe said and Jack smirked
"Well Chloe we would just appreciate it if you could keep everything private because we are not trying to use our social media to post about negative situations and it's hard when all you see if drama, we would like it if we could just delete all of the drama off" Jack said
"Well I cant make any promises, but I can try" Chloe said
"Please, rumors don't help anyone" you said
"They help me" Chloe said
"All they do is make us look bad for no reason and they make you a liar which is not good at all" you said
"Well I don't care, anyways, I'm going to find some clothes so I'll catch y'all later..byeeeee" Chloe said and walked away as you and Jack rolled your eyes
"Well I wish I would've recorded that, she was a jerk" you said
"I did, I got the whole thing" Jack said and you looked up at him
"You didn't" you said surprised
"I sure did" Jack said and smiled
"You're amazing" you said and smiled
"I know" Jack said and pulled you into a side hug and y'all walked out of the store.
