After you got off the phone with your mom, you told Allie everything she said. Y'all decided to take her advice and go out and meet new people. It was around 5:45pm so you took a quick shower. After you got out, you put on some makeup and straightened your hair. You decided to wear some black jeans and a red bralette top. You paired it with a pair of black chunky heel booties. You grabbed your things and went into the living room where Allie was. Y'all drove to the club and walked in. There was a group of girls that were talking that saw y'all walk in so they waved for y'all to join them.

"Hi, you guys look like fun what's your names" one girl asked
"I'm Maddie" you said
"I'm Allie"
"Well I'm Sarah, this is Mya, and Olivia, and Evie"
"Well nice to meet y'all" you said
"You're not from here are you?" Evie asked
"No, we're from Texas. We've lived here for about a month now" you said
"Well, welcome to LA, we all moved here about 2 years ago to start singing together" Evie said
"Y'all sing?" Allie asked
"Yeah, Do you guys?" Mya said
"I kind of can but Maddie is an amazing singer" Allie said
"I sing sometimes with my brother and his friends. They're in a band" you said
"Oh cool, what band?" Sarah asked
"Why don't we" you replied
"No way!" Evie said with her moth wide open
"You know them?" You asked
"I love them! Who's your brother?" Evie asked
"Zach Herron" you replied
"Nooo wayyyy"
"Yep" you said and laughed
"Wait so you're a good singer?" Mya asked
"Yeah from what I've heard" you said
"Well you know tonight is karaoke night, we like to come here and sing for people. You should go sing" Mya said
"Oh I don't know, I probably don't know any of their songs anyways" you said
"Let's go look at the song book and see" Sarah said and got out of her chair and y'all all went to look at the book.

You didn't see any songs you really wanted to sing but then one caught your eye. You decided to sing This Mountain by Faouzia. Nobody was on the stage yet so you went ahead and went up. A lady on the stage introduced you and the girls cheered and then the song started. You started out slow and then you finally got used to it and people started to cheer when you did high notes. Eventually everyone was dancing and cheering you on and it was amazing. After you were done everyone was clapping and cheering. You went back to the table with the girls and sat down.

"Okay woah, when you said you sang I didn't expect you to be that good" Evie said and you laughed
"Girl you gotta do something with that talent" Sarah said
"If you don't we will" Mya said
"How?" You asked
"We recorded you" Allie said
"Ohhh, well I mean I've been posted singing before and it didn't do much so I'll prob just let it be my little talent" you said
"No you need to create a YouTube channel and post covers on there and maybe write a few songs with your brother and his friends" Evie said
"Oh that's too much, I'm about to start my photography job and I'll be editing and everything and I don't think that'll work" you said
"You make the videos, we'll post them on the channel" Mya said
"Y'all don't have to" you said
"But we want to, the whole world needs to know about Maddie Herron and with the help of us, I think we can do it" Sarah said
"Y'all are too sweet" you said
"Wait, we've been talking the whole night and we haven't even gotten eachothers numbers" Allie said

Everyone exchanged numbers and then the girls decided to go up and perform. You videoed them so you could show the boys. You cheered them on the whole time and it was super fun. They finished their song and it was almost midnight. You decided to head home to rest because you had to talk to Zach tomorrow. Y'all told the girls bye and agreed to meet another time. You and Allie loaded up into the car and started your drive home.

"I'm excited for your YouTube channel" Allie said
"Yeah but don't you think it's a little much" You said
"Not at all, I've been wanting you to make something like this forever but I knew you would refuse to do it, but now that their going to help you, you have no choice and I love it" Allie said
"They were so nice, I'm glad we went out tonight" you said
"Yeah me too, your mom was right, we needed some new LA friends and now we got some" Allie said
"Yeah, I miss Rylan, Katie, and Peyton though and going to get smoothies everyday after soccer" you said immediately changing the mood
"Yeah me too, I wish they could all come here" Allie said
"We should call them all tomorrow and catch up, maybe they'll come here for a vacation" You said
"Yeah, I bet we can convince them"
"Hopefully" you said

You and Allie arrived at your apartment and went up to your room. You remembered that Jack was supposed to tell you how things with Zach went. You checked your phone but it didn't have any notifications from Jack. You decided to call him to see how everything went. It took a few rings but he finally picked up.

"Hey Jack" you said
"Hey" Jack said sounding exhausted
"Are you Okay? You never told me how your talk with Zach went" you said
"Oh yeah sorry about that, he just yelled at me a lot and told me that he would never approve of us because he couldn't trust me because I've gone behind his back too many times and blah blah blah"
"Oh, how'd he know you were with me though?" You asked
"Well since we are a band, we need to look out for each other so we have an app that says where each of us are and with us getting more popular, people tend to act crazier and if we ever get kidnapped or anything, the others will know where we are"
"Well that's smart, but how'd he know I was there too"
"He said he saw your story about going to the beach and he knew the restaurant wasn't far from where y'all were and he could just tell because the boys were really frantic when he asked where I was" Jack said
"Oh, well I'm going to try and talk to him tomorrow, mom was supposed to call him and straighten him out but I don't know if anything had happened"
"Well she called and he went up to his room but he hasn't talked to us since and he's kind of just been hanging out in his room"
"Oh, well I'm gonna text him, I just wanted to make sure you were okay and that he didn't kill you or anything"
"Not yet" Jack said and you both laughed
"Okay well I'll talk to you later, I love you"
"I love you too"
"Bye" you said and hung up

You went to your text messages and texted Zach about talking tomorrow.

M: Hey, so I was wondering if me and you could talk alone about some stuff because I hate our whole situation that's been happening. It's been tearing us apart and that's the last thing I want. We can meet anywhere
Z: I guess so. Mom already talked to me about this so I don't know how much more I can handle
M: I won't talk too much, I just want to talk about a few things
Z: okay, we can meet here and just talk in the backyard
M: sounds good, I'll see you tomorrow
Z: okay, 12:00?
M: 👍🏼
