You got in your car and saw Jack run out of the house and to your window so you rolled it down and tried to keep back the tears.

"Babe are you okay?" Jack said sounding worried
"Yeah...I'm fine" you said and your eyes started to water
"No you're not, talk to me"
"It's just Zach can't just let me have my own life, he thinks since he was here first, he knows everything and controls my life but I'm tired of it. He thinks that since his relationships were so bad that mine will be too and he thinks everyone I date is going to be just like Alex but I'm over him trying to control everything. I'm done" you said and tears started to roll down your cheeks

Jack opened your car door and pulled you into a tight hug and you just cried into his shoulder.

"Is Alex the one who cheated?" Jack asked and you nodded your head in agreement
"I know Zach is worried about everything going down hill but I promise I will never hurt you ever. I will always be there for you whenever you need me" Jack said calming you down
"Thank you so much" you said still hugging jack tightly
"Maddie?"
"Hm"
"I love you" Jack said and your heart melted
"I love you too" you said and instantly became better

You and Jack pulled out of your hug and you kissed him. Then you closed your car door and said goodbye and headed home. When you got back, Allie was sitting down in the living room. She could see the old tear stains on your cheeks and immediately asked what was wrong.

"Well Zach's being an asshole about me and Jack dating and he was saying that we needed his approval to date and I finally told him that that's not how the game works and I'm not playing by his rules and he pretty much said that if me and Jacks relationship didn't work, he didn't want to hear about it" you said
"Well screw him for one and why does he think he's your mom or something because he's definitely not and he definitely needs a nice smack in the face" Allie said
"Yeah I know, I'd like to give him one" you said and you both laughed
"Anyways Jack came out to my car before I could leave and made me feel a lot better and alsooo he said he loved me" you said and blushed
"Oh my goshhh he said the L word!! You said it back didn't you?!" Allie said very excitingly
"Of course!" You replied
"Good, you and Jack need to start dating pronto and get married and everything just to shove it in Zach's face" Allie said and y'all laughed
"Yeah, anyways how did your date go?" You asked
"It went really good actually, turns out he's from Florida and came to LA last year to become an actor and he hasn't done any big films but he just auditioned for a new Netflix movie and he said he's pretty confident about it"
"Oooooo, so are you going on a second date?" You asked
"Yes, and hopefully many more m, he's so much fun to be around! He's cute, funny, has a good personality, caring, and just amazing" Allie said
"Wow, he sounds perfect for you" you said
"Yeah, we had a really good time together" Allie said
"Well that's good"

You and Allie talked some more about random things and then you checked your emails and one said your furniture would be arriving tomorrow which was good but also not so good.

"Allie we have a problem, look" you said and showed her the email
"What's wrong with that, we can finally have furniture and our apartment can look like an apartment" Allie said
"Yeah but the boys were supposed to help, remember"
"Yeah and?"
"Andddd I'm not speaking to Zach at the moment so what do I do?" You asked
"Call Jack"
"Sounds good, I'll do that right now"

You called Jack and after a few rings he picked up.

"Hey Maddie" Jack said
"Hey, is everything alright there?" You asked just to make sure
"Yeah, Zach explained everything to the boys and they just kind of talked to him about some stuff, I don't really know, but everyone is in there rooms and most are asleep"
"Oh okay, well I was going to ask you something" you said
"Sure go ahead"
"Well my furniture comes in tomorrow and we need help un loading and setting everything up and we had planned for y'all to help but since I'm not talking to Zach what should I do?" You asked
"Well, I can talk to them tomorrow about helping and we can just see if Zach wants to come or not and I can let you know. What time?"
"Around noon probably" you said
"Okay I'll text you what I find out in the morning"
"Sounds good, bye"
"Bye" Jack said and you hung up.

Allie heard the whole conversation and agreed with the plan. Y'all decided to figure out where you were going to put everything and how you wanted it. You cleared spaces and eventually finished a little after midnight. You and Allie went to your rooms and fell asleep.

The next morning, you woke up at 9:00am. You got out of bed and hopped in the shower and cleaned up. You put on some shorts and a T-shirt. You went into allies room and woke her up so you could get breakfast. She got ready and y'all left. While you were gone, you got a text from Jack.

J: Hey, Zach said he would still help
M: okay, I hope he knows helping me won't make me any less mad at him
J: I'll let him know
M: okay, I'll see you later
J: see ya❤️
M:❤️

You and Allie got back at around 11:30 so you went up to your room and waited on the boys to get there. They finally arrived and you showed them where everything was going. Zach was silent the whole time and you acted like he wasn't there. The delivery truck finally arrived and the boys started to move everything. Pretty soon everything was in your apartment but it wasn't where it needed to be. You, Allie, and the boys started to arrange things how y'all wanted it. Zach stood in the corner on his phone while y'all moved everything. You had one arrangement set up but you didn't know if you liked it or not so y'all moved it again. You and Allie liked the second arrangement better so you kept it. Zach decided to get off his phone and join everyone.
