"So, did you have fun?" Zoe asked Beca.

"Yeah, it was great. Thanks again, dude."

"That's okay. I knew you'd like it."

Beca smiled at the redhead then followed her into a big restaurant that her father owned and it just happened to be one of the best restaurants in the city. Zoe's family were extremely rich and Beca was always a little intimidated by them.

"What are we doing here?" Beca asked.

"Having dinner?" Zoe answered as if it wasn't already obvious.

"Here?"

"Ah huh."

"I'm a little underdressed don't you think?"

"You look great, Becs." Zoe led Beca to a cute table for two in the back of the restaurant.

It was set up nicely with plates, cutlery, glasses, candles, and a small bouquet of roses in the middle. Beca then realised what was happening.

"Zo?" The brunette spoke once she sat.

"Yes?"

"Is this is a date?"

"A date?" Zoe frowned. "No, why would you ask that?"

"Ah... Maybe because we're at your dad's restaurant at a romantic table for two? Not to mention the fact that you're dressed more than casual. I thought we were just going to the club then going out to a pizza bar or something."

Zoe giggled at the girl. "No, Becs, I wanted to be a bit classier tonight that's all."

"So it's not a date?"

"No," she shook her head.

"Good, because I've got a girlfriend."

"So you've said. How long have you been going out for?"

"Not long."

"Are you happy with her?"

"So far, yeah."

"She seems nice."

"Yeah, she's really great," Beca smiled.

Zoe clenched her jaw briefly before looking down at her menu and picking out what she wanted.

"Ah, Zo?"

"Yes?"

"I don't want to burst your bubble, but I don't think I can afford to eat here."

Zoe giggled at the brunette. "It's okay, Becs. It's on the house."

"It is?"

"Yeah," she nodded with a smile. "I won't ever have to pay to eat here and dad likes you so you don't have to either."

"I thought he hated me?"

"He doesn't hate you."

"He made it pretty clear that he didn't like me when I broke up with you."

"Well... no, but he was just upset because I was upset that's all. He's gotten over it just like I have so he's fine now."

"Does he know that I'm here?"

"Yes, Becs," Zoe giggled again. "You don't have to worry."

"Okay, cool."

Beca and Zoe looked through the menu, picked their meal, ordered what they wanted, and began talking.

"So how was your trip?" Beca asked.

"It was great!" Zoe beamed.

"Where did you go this time?"
