It was day three and Chloe's hope had pretty much left her. Nobody had come for her and she was soon to leave with Randall to her new home, which she still didn't know where it was. But at that moment, Chloe didn't particularly care. She knew that she was going to leave and that she was never going to see her friends again and more importantly, she was never going to see the love of her life again. That's what crushed her the most. Beca had done so much for her and she was giving her a life that she never thought she'd get. Beca was the most amazing person she had ever met and it crushed Chloe to her core knowing that she would never see her again. She was surprised that Randall hadn't hunted Beca down and hurt her even more. Randall hated homosexuals and the fact that his daughter was in a lesbian relationship... that didn't sit well with him at all. Chloe knew that she was taking a risk being with Beca but after the trial, she thought that she was going to be safe. She now knew how wrong she was.
Chloe was still cooped up in her room since she got there. Randall brought her food when it was time to eat but it wasn't enough. Chloe was starving and she knew that she was going to go back to the way things were. She wasn't going to eat as much as she wanted and needed. Everything that she was getting accustomed to was gone and she was going to live in depravity once more. It broke Chloe's heart and she couldn't believe that this was happening to her and the worst part was that she knew that there was nothing she could have done. Chloe wanted to hold onto the little hope she had left but it kept slipping away from her as time went by. Chloe tried to think of Beca and have hope that the love of her life would rescue her but as time went on, she realised that her hope of being rescued would never happen.
Randall was worried that the police would show up at any moment since he hadn't had this much heat on him before but he had fled the police more than once so he was confident that he'd be able to do it again. He had made plans to go several states over where nobody would ever find him and Chloe. He had to go to the lengths of coming up with aliases for him and Chloe. He didn't want to change their names but it was the only way they'd be able to be together, in his head anyway. Each day that went by, Randall did his best to plan for their trip. It was hard since the police were after him but he managed to stay hidden and keep Chloe safe. He only had to make a few more preparations before he and Chloe left for their new home. Once he was confident that his plan would work, he went into Chloe's room to tell the redhead of the good news.
"How are you holding up, Chlobear?" He asked, sitting next to the redhead on her bed.
"I'm fine, daddy..." She uttered.
"Are you scared?"
She nodded.
"Oh, baby girl," he put his arm around her and kissed her head. "I know you're scared but you don't need to worry. We'll leave and start a new life together. You'll be safe and you won't have to worry about anything. Daddy will take care of you like he always does. You know that, don't you?"
Chloe nodded again, not being able to look at her father.
"Good girl. I know things are a little tense at the moment but that'll all be over soon. We'll be out of here sooner than you know. I promise that this'll be the last time we move. We'll be safe and happier at our new home."
"Do I get to know where we're going yet?"
"No yet, Chlobear. That's still a surprise. All I can tell you that it's going to be quite the car ride. Now, are you hungry?"
"Yes."
"I thought you might be. What would you like?"
"Pizza?" Chloe dared to ask.
Randall pursed his lips. "Okay, but only a little. I can tell you've had lots of that with your... friend, so I don't want you having too much." Randall got up and left Chloe's room to order pizza.
