It was an eventful first day and Chloe loved it. She made a new group of friends, all of which she got on well with, except for Beca of course. The tiny brunette kept her distance from Chloe but Chloe didn't let it bother her. She didn't want to give off the wrong impression to the girl and wanted to give her space. Stacie reassured Chloe that Beca would warm up to her eventually, Beca just needed time.

When Chloe got home, she was greeted by her father who was getting an early start on dinner, which Chloe was grateful for since she was starving. She didn't have much to eat during the day.

"There's my girl!" Randall greeted with a smile.

"Hi, daddy,"

"How was your first day?"

"Good. I made some new friends."

"That's great! I made your favourite for your first day."

"Thanks, daddy."

"Where's my kiss?"

Chloe dropped her bag and walked over to her father, kissing his cheek softly and he kissed her head in return and wrapped an arm around her waist.

"Love you, my girl."

"Love you, too, daddy."

"Do you have any homework?"

"Yes."

"Well, why don't you do that and I'll bring dinner into you when it's ready?"

"Okay."

"Good girl." The man gently tapped Chloe's behind and released her from his hold, allowing Chloe to collect her bag off the floor and head into her room, which was next door to her father's.

The redhead unpacked her bag and took out her homework that she started to do whilst sitting on her bed. Chloe began with English since that was her favourite subject. One of their homework requirements was to fill out a sheet telling the teacher a little bit about themselves. Chloe liked doing those sorts of things. They were easy and there was no wrong answer. Chloe began filling out the sheet the best she could with limited writing space she had. Once that was done, she moved onto Math and then History. When she was half-way through that, her father knocked on her door.

"Dinner's ready!" He announced.

"Oh, thanks, daddy," Chloe put her books to the side and grabbed the bowl of pasta from her father.

"You're welcome, Chlobear. What are you doing?"

"History homework."

"History! That was my favourite subject at school. Let's have a look." The man sat down next to Chloe and put an arm around her and looked at her books. "Are you enjoying History?"

"It's alright, I guess. I prefer English and Music."

"You always have, my little creative bean." He kissed her head. "Written any stories yet?"

"Not yet. We have an assignment later on to write a short story but that's not for ages."

"I can't wait to read it." He slipped his hand down to her waist and stroked her side with his thumb.

"Y, yeah... It'll... It'll be good."

"Well, I'm proud of you, Chlobear. I know you'll do great during your final year.

"Thanks, daddy."

"You're welcome." He kissed her head then stood. "Love you."

"Love you, too."

The man gave her a smile and a wink before leaving her room. Chloe put her dinner down and sighed before returning to her homework to try and take her mind off things.
