The following week was so different for Chloe. She had been living with her girlfriend and things were going great. For the first time in her life, she was properly accepted into a family who cared for her and made sure that she was okay mentally and physically. What made it even better was that Beca loved having Chloe live with her. The two girls did everything together and it made their relationship stronger. Ever since Chloe moved in, the girls were more open with one another and their level of trust only increased. Beca opened up a bit about her parents, their divorce, and how hard that was on her. That was something Beca never spoke about with anyone but she trusted Chloe and she felt safe with her. It meant a lot to Chloe that Beca felt comfortable enough to open up to her like that and it made her fall for Beca even more, which she thought was impossible since she adored the brunette more than words could explain.
Beca and Chloe weren't the only ones doing well. Stacie made a speedy recovery and she was able to go back to school for a few days before the weekend. Aubrey was over the moon at how quickly her girlfriend recovered and was so proud of her for resting up and having the determination to return to school. As much as Stacie loved lounging around in bed all day, it did get boring and she got rather lonely when Aubrey wasn't by her side. Thankfully, things quickly got back to normal for Stacie and she was able to end her week on a high since it was the weekend she and her friends were going to her parent's beach house.
Everybody was excited, especially Chloe who was dying to go to the beach. Beca found it absolutely adorable and couldn't wait to take her girlfriend to the beach house. In what felt like forever, Chloe and her friends finally arrived at the house and the redhead was aback by how big and beautiful the place was.
"Is this where we'll be staying?" Chloe asked Beca.
"Yes," she nodded with a smile.
"It's beautiful!"
"Wait 'til you see the inside. Come on." Beca took Chloe's hand and walked her inside when Stacie opened the door.
The house was extremely spacious. There was a kitchen, a dining area, and a lounge room all in one. The walls were blue and white and on the walls were pictures of Stacie and her family as well as beach memorabilia. It was a very comfortable setting and it was obvious that the place was well looked after.
"Oh my God..." Chloe uttered. "Becs... This place is amazing!"
"I knew you'd like it."
"I love it!"
"The offer is one mil," Stacie said as she passed the girls. "It's got a beautiful view of the beach, it's away from the noisy roads, and it's perfect for a small family. It's an exclusive offer coming to you for one million dollars."
"Oh, Becs, it's perfect," Chloe played, folding her hand with Beca's and hugging her arm.
"You like it?" Beca humoured.
"Yes. I love it."
"Alright," Beca looked at Stacie. "We'll take it then."
"Excellent!" Stacie beamed then held out her hand. "Pleasure doing business with you, Miss Mitchell. I'll get the paperwork ready."
"You did NOT just sell our house, did you?" Aubrey asked, joining in on their banter.
"One mil, babe. I'll buy you a better one."
"Oh, wow. Good job." Aubrey kissed the brunette's cheek before flinging her bag over her shoulder and walking down the hall to her room. "I expect a Lexus in the driveway, too!" She called out.
"Yes, dear!"
Chloe giggled at their interaction, which made Beca melt.
"Are you ready to see our room?" Beca asked.
