The following day couldn't have come sooner for Beca and Chloe. Both of them had trouble sleeping and Beca was pacing a little around her room waiting for Chloe to show up. Beca had no idea why she was so nervous. She was wringing her hands with anticipation and breathing through her mouth. She hated the feeling, whatever it was. It wasn't pleasant and Beca wished for it to go but it didn't and it only got worse when Beca looked out her window and saw an old car pull up out the front of her house. Beca looked carefully and saw Chloe hop out of the car and make her way towards the door once the car drove off.

Beca could hear the doorbell ring but she let her dad answer it. Beca was too badass to answer the door herself.

"Beca!" Mark called out. "Chloe is here!"

"Coming!" Beca answered then took a breath before going downstairs and meeting Chloe in the living room.

"Hey, Beca!" Chloe smiled at the girl.

"Hey," Beca smiled briefly. "Ready to study?"

"Yep!"

"Alright, we'll go to my room."

"Okay. Lead the way."

Beca turned on her heel and led Chloe upstairs and Chloe was taken aback by the enormity of Beca's house. It was ten times the size of her house and it literally looked a million dollars. Chloe looked at the photos along the way upstairs and saw some photos of Beca when she was a kid and Chloe would have been lying if she didn't think that the alt-girl was cute. Beca wasn't always a badass and it was absolutely adorable.

"Just in here," Beca opened her bedroom door to Chloe and the redhead gasped.

"Wow..."

"What?"

"Your room is so big! And you have so much stuff!"

Chloe was right. Beca had the second-largest room in the house and she did have quite a lot of things like a soundboard, a computer, a laptop, a PlayStation, a flat-screen TV, a Queen-sized bed, a built-in wardrobe, and other little bits and pieces that made the room lived in and homey. Beca didn't think it was much but she realised that it must have been since Chloe was looking around her room as if she lived in Buckingham Palace.

"Ah... I guess so... Um, did you wanna drink or anything? I forgot to ask while we were downstairs. We've got water, orange juice, lemonade-"

"Lemonade!" Chloe's eyes lit up. "Oh, I'll have some of that, please. I haven't had it in AGES."

"Um, okay. I'll get it. Ah, did you want anything to eat?"

"Oh, yes, please. I'll have whatever."

"Okay. I'll be back in a bit. Make yourself comfortable."

"Alright. Thank you."

Beca nodded and left her room then went downstairs and got Chloe's drink and a packet of chips. When she returned to her room, she saw Chloe looking at Beca's soundboard, completely amazed by it.

"I only have one rule and that's no eating or drinking near my computer and soundboard," Beca announced. "Here's your drink."

Chloe turned around and her eyes lit up when Beca came back with her drink and a bag of chips.

"Oh, thank you!" Chloe beamed and practically raced over to Beca and grabbed her drink and drunk half of it in one go. "Oh my God, that's so good!" Chloe drunk some more, leaving only a mouthful left.

"Did... did you want me to bring the whole bottle up?"

Chloe giggled and Beca got a fuzzy feeling in her stomach.
