It was going to be a long weekend for Stacie since the brunette was camping with her girlfriend and her family. Stacie wasn't a fan of camping but her love for Aubrey was greater than her hatred for the outdoors so she pulled it together and went with the blonde. Aubrey loved camping and doing activities. She was great at them and she had her father to thank for that. They were quite the team when it came to organising things and setting in rules. It was so clear where Aubrey got her controlling nature from. It was always Aubrey's way or the highway and no one was able to change that, except for Stacie. Aubrey never bent the rules for anybody... except for Stacie. All of Aubrey's friends were envious that Stacie had that power, which none of them knew how she got. Not even Stacie knew. It was a mystery but Stacie never complained about it. Stacie was the only one who could convince Aubrey to skip the first or last ten minutes of class to fool around with the brunette.
However, there was one thing that Stacie couldn't change her girlfriend's mind on and that was camping. Aubrey organised things with her dad and she would stick to them no matter what. This wasn't the first time that Stacie had gone camping with the blonde and her family. Stacie tried to get Aubrey to cancel certain activities but Aubrey would always stay strong - she never changed her mind. Stacie eventually stopped trying once she realised that once Aubrey was in camping mode that was it - there was no hope for Stacie to change her mind. Stacie hated camping but again, she loved Aubrey so much that she'd go camping with her. It wasn't all bad though. Stacie and Aubrey got a tent to themselves, got to shower together, and were always each other's partners when certain activities required two people. What Stacie loved the most was the end of their camping trip because Aubrey would give the brunette a thank you gift, which Stacie was more than happy to accept.
However, Stacie had to wait a little longer before she got her gift since it was only the first night of their camping trip and Stacie was absolutely exhausted. The Posen's had gone hiking all day, which Stacie still wasn't used to. The brunette had gone on hiking before and each time reminded her how much she hated it. Aubrey knew that Stacie didn't like camping but it only made her love Stacie even more, especially with the knowledge that Stacie only went camping for Aubrey. It was such a sweet thing to do in Aubrey's eyes as well as her parent's eyes. It just reinforced the fact that Stacie was a great match for the blonde. When Aubrey asked Stacie to go camping with her this time, Stacie said no but as soon as Aubrey stuck out her bottom lip and gave the leggy girl her puppy eyes, Stacie caved and before she knew it, she was packing her bag for the weekend.
After having dinner with her girlfriend and her parents, Stacie changed into her pyjamas and curled into bed with Aubrey, which was a mattress that covered the floor of their two-person tent. Thankfully, Aubrey only got the best of everything so the mattress was comfortable, the pillows were soft, and the sheets were fluffy and warm. Stacie had never been so happy to climb into the camp bed. Her feet were sore as was her legs and pretty much the rest of her body when she thought of it. Hiking worked all of Stacie's muscles and she knew she was going to feel it in the morning.
"Great job today, babe," Aubrey said as she slid into bed.
"Ah huh..." Stacie muttered.
The brunette was lying on her back with her eyes closed and mouth open as she enjoyed the feeling of her body relaxing into the mattress. She hadn't moved since she laid down she was that comfortable.
"Tired?" Aubrey giggled.
"Ah huh..."
"You'll sleep well tonight."
"Ah huh..."
"Is it alright if I keep the lamp on for a bit? I want to read a little."
"Ah huh..."
