After comforting her girlfriend and making sure she was okay before she left for her first class, Stacie marched over to her brother's locker where the boy was getting out his books. However, he was interrupted when Stacie slammed his locker door shut on him, taking him by surprise.

"What the Hell?" He frowned.

"Don't give me that, you little shithead," Stacie snapped. "I know it was you."

"What was me?"

"Are you seriously going to keep playing dumb? I know it was you who made that note about Mr Smith and blamed it on Aubrey. Why would you do that?"

"I don't know what you're talking about," he shrugged and opened his locker but Stacie shut it again.

"Don't be a little asshole! Now tell me why you did it! What's Aubrey ever done to you?"

"I don't know what you're talking about, Stacie. I swear you try to blame me for everything."

"You are going to go to Mr Smith and tell him the truth. You had no right to do that to Aubrey. She hasn't done anything to you so leave her alone!"

"You don't have any proof that I did it, sis," he smirked.

"Do I have to beat it out of you?"

"Oh, yeah, that'll go down really well with the school, mom and dad, and Aubrey. It'll go real peachy."

"What has she done to you, Ryan? Aubrey would never go out of her way to hurt someone but yet you went out of yours to hurt her. If this is you trying to get her to like you then you're going the wrong way about it. Why can't you just leave her alone and more importantly, leave us alone?"

Ryan clenched his jaw angrily.

"Look, Ryan, whatever this is you have with Aubrey, it needs to stop. She doesn't like you and she never will, especially after this. Aubrey loves me and only me."

"You stole her from me."

"God, Ryan, not this again!"

"You did! You knew I liked her then you pursued her!"

"I didn't! It just happened, Ryan! Why can't you see that?"

"Because I know you, Stacie, and I know that your goal in life is to get into as many people's pants as you can and Aubrey is one of them!"

"If I just wanted to get into her pants I would have done so ages ago and I certainly would not have started a relationship with her! I love Aubrey, Ryan. We're going to go to college together."

"You don't really love her, Stacie. I know you and you don't know how to love properly."

"You shut your mouth, Ryan," she snapped.

"Aubrey doesn't love you like you think she does. I see her looking at other guys. I see that she wants more."

"Shut. Up."

"Why? Are you going to hit me?"

Stacie would have loved to knock the living daylight out of her brother but she knew that there were going to be serious consequences if she did. So, to calm her down, she took a breath and thought of Aubrey.

"No," Stacie shook her head. "I'm not going to give you that satisfaction. Just do the right thing, Ryan, okay?"

"I don't know what you're talking about."

"Why are you being such a stubborn dickhead?"

"I'm not!"

"You are! You seriously need to get over yourself, Ryan. Just face the facts - Aubrey loves me and not you and it'll always be that way. She'll never love you and I know it for a fact because she doesn't find you attractive and after this stunt you've just pulled, she won't even give you the time of day. Aubrey will never be yours."
