Mira's POV

"And he liked toasted bacon. Always wanted for an extra work!" Mama said as she got the bacons from the pan.

"Medyo perfectionist din po siya." Sagot ko sa kanya.

"Yeah, one thing he got from his dad."

"Sa totoo nga lang po, he's the one who leads the two of us in this marriage."

"Now that is what I won't allow!"

Binigay niya sa'kin yung pinggan na may laman na bacon at dinala ko naman sa table. We were currently preparing breakfast. Wife duties daw sabi ni Mama.

"Dapat lang na maging under siya sayo no!" I heard Mama saying on my back.

I laughed softly, "Bakit naman po?"

"Don't let that hedgepig husband of yours rule over you. Your words shall prevail."

I laughed at Mama's remarks. Seriously, how could I do that?

As I was busy preparing the table, I felt a presence coming to the dining area. I immediately saw Xander's dad walking into the room.

I smiled at him and bowed, "Good morning, Dad."

"Hmm, good morning. Where's your husband?"

"He's still on our room."

"Still sleeping?"

I mentally cursed when I remembered the events last night, "Uh, yes."

"You know what? You should go and wake him up. He'll be late."

"Yes, I will."

"No need for that." Speaking of the devil...

He immediately smiled at me, "Morning babe." And quickly gave a peck on my lips.

Mabilis ko siyang kinurot sa tagiliran at bumulong, "Kung ano-ano pa kasi pinag-gagagawa mo kagabi! Iyan tuloy, tanghali ka nang gumising."

Natawa siya sa sinabi ko, "What? Am I not entitled to do that?"

Paniguradong pinamulahan ako ng mukha sa sinabi niya, "Nag-sawa ka na don nung umalis tayo!"

Sasagot pa sana siya nang marinig namin si Mama sa likod, "Eat now Xander, and better get going. Your grandfather told me about the pile of work you still need to finish."

"Yes Mom."

Tinulungan ko ang Mama niya na ihanda pa yung ibang pag-kain. Xander pulled a seat for me beside him. His Mom sat across us and his Dad on the head of the table. This was our table set-up since we came back. We started eating as soon as we're all settled on the table and as the maids pour us our drinks.

"By the way, pina-asikaso ko na nga pala yung condo mo Xander. I need your signature to sell it."

"Ma!"

"What?"

"Please, not that condo. Leave that condo alone."

"And why?"

"Dahil dun kami titira."

"Anong doon titira? Diba dito na kayo?"

"Just for a while, Mom. Sayo na rin galing na dito lang kami pansamantala."

"Ah basta! You'll need—"

"No Mom, no."

Hinawakan ko yung kamay ni Xander , "Xander, hayaan mo na."
