Mira's POV

"Everything is moving according to plan." sabi ni Ate habang pinapakita sa'kin yung mga nasisimulan na sa project.

"Good to know."

Napa-tigil si Ate sa pag-tingin sa monitor at humarap sa'kin, "Something's bothering you, Sis?"

I exhaled before answering her, "I'm finally seeing him, again."

"Hmm, Ken also told me."

"Hindi naman sa ayaw ko siyang makita, hindi ko rin naman siya iniiwasan. Pero alam yun Ate? Marami nang nag-bago. Kahit na sayo pa nanggaling 'yon."

"So this 'change' you were talking about is the one that affects the way you want to interact with him?"

"Oo. I don't know what kind of approach should I give or I don't even know what kind of man he is now. Mahirap pa din."

I did imagine that she is Xander. I looked straight to her eyes like how it will be to Xander. Anong sasabihin ko?

"For breaking our promises." and for forgetting who you are to me.

Nagulat na lang ako nang pinunasan ni Ate yung mukha ko. I was already crying and still, I didn't know, "Oh gosh, I'm sorry."

"Bakit naman?"

"I was the one who push you to make a change for yourself."

"Nah. Don't be. At saka, choice ko 'yon. Naka-buti rin naman sa'kin 'yun e."

"Mira, you're already a woman of your own. Labas na 'ko sa lahat ng choices mo. You're no longer that childish Mira na kailangan lagi kong isipin. At masaya ako kasi kaya mo na ang sarili mo. So free yourself from the burden of having an over-protective sister like me and everyhting."

"I will. Thank you, Ate."

She smiled, "Mauna ka na. Tatapusin ko pa 'to. At saka, may lakad pa kayo diba?"

"Oo."

"You need to prepare."

Kinuha ko na yung bag ko at lumabas ng office ni Ate. Dumiretso na ako sa lobby papunta sa kotse at nag-pahatid muna ako papunta sa Villa para makapag-pahinga. After the contract was signed, nag-check out na rin ako sa hotel. Nung una nga, ayaw pang pumayag ni Patrick and he even offered a free stay but I declined.
