Mira's POV

I wasn't able to move nor to talk after saying his name. It was like even my heart stopped working as well as my brain. I can't think straight, my thoughts aren't clear. Anong gagawin ko?

"You're here..." he said. Even his voice sends chills to my spine.

Mag-sasalita pa sana siya nang pasara na ang elevator. He hurriedly prevented it from closing and stepped out of the elevator. He stood right infront of me, inches away perhaps. It was so close to my comfort to the extent that I can even smell his manly scent which was barely new to me.

I stared straight to his eyes. He might changed a lot, but his eyes, those black eyes were in my memory forever.

"You're really here." he was about to touch me but I immediately step back.

Confusion filled his eyes. I decided to ignore those confusion. Good timing the lift was on this floor kaya sumabay ako sa mga pumapasok sa elevator. And before the elevator closes, I met his eyes again which was filled by unknown emotions.

Ilang beses akong huminga nang malalim para pakalmahin ang sarili ko. I can't even stand straight as I walked out of the elevators. I even have to lean on the walls of the corridor to rely for support. And slowly, I made it up to my suite. Kaagad akong napa-upo sa couch dahil talagang nanlalambot ang tuhod ko. Wala rin akong hika pero kinakapos ako ng hininga. Pati ang mga kamay ko, nanginginig. What is happening to me?

Nagulat pa ako nang biglang mag-ring ulit ang phone ko.

"H-Hello?"

["Mira, what happened? Okay ka lang ba?"]

"K-Ken, I s-saw him. I saw him."

["Who?"]

"Him."

It seems that one word answered all his questions. He remained silent for a few moment before talking again.

["What did he say? Anong ginawa mo?"]

"I left him. Iniwasan ko siya."

["Why?"]

Nag-taka ako bigla sa tanong niya. "What do you mean?"

["Why did you do that? Bakit mo siya iniwasan?"]

"Ken, hindi ko alam ang gagawin ko. I was frozen nor can I speak. Even upto now, I'm trembling!"

["Why?"]

"What do you mean 'why'? Ken, I saw him. He appeared right infront of me. That person. The very reason why I am like this and why everything happened!"

["Let me be clear to you, Mira. Hindi ka namin dinala sa Osaka para lang sa wala. Maybe you already forgotten everything."]

"Why would I forget? That is the most painful event in my life. Mismong sarili ko, hindi ko na alam, now, why would I forget?"

["Exactly. Now, may I ask, what is it with you? Why are you acting like this?"]

"What do you mean?"

["In the first place Mira, you wouldn't avoid him if you're still afraid of everything relates to him especially him, himself. You wouldn't even tremble if you're not afraid."]
