Mira's POV

I was almost done putting some concealer on my bruises when I heard a knock on my door.

"Mira, bilisan mo na jan. We're running late." boses ni Ate

"Coming."

I sighed as I continued on what I was doing. Many years later, I cannot believe I am back to covering up my bruises once again. Eto ang ganting ginagawa sa'kin ni Zedric dahil sa ayaw kong magpagalaw sa kanya. And I know even after that, he'll do the same. For the past weeks, there has been multiple times where he would attempt to rape me but yaya Lita was always there to come and protect me. I even heard that Zedric wanted yaya Lita out of the Villa pero hindi masunod, dahil alam nilang si yaya Lita lang ang nakakapag pa amo sa'kin para sundin ang mga utos nila.

Sa ngayon, 'di pa gaanong pinagpa planuhan ang kasal. We have important matters to take care of, at naiintindihan yun ng side ni Zedric. I am not suicidal but I might end up killing myself than getting wed to Zed.

I took one last look at the mirror to make sure I look presentable, bago kinuha ang sling bag ko at lumabas ng kwarto. As I turned after closing my door, there stood Zedric with all his devil smiles.

"Good morning." he said and snake his both hands to my waist.

"Zedric, male-late na kami. I need to go." sabi ko at pinipilit na tanggalin ang mga kamay niya.

"Can't I have my good morning kiss from my fiancé?"

I smirked at him, "No. 'Cause I'm not the type of girl who give free kisses, let alone a good morning kiss."

I stomped on his foot making him distance himself from me, "Fck, that hurts!"

Nakita ko kaagad kung sino yung taong kakarating lang sa likod ni Zedric so I immediately flashed a playful smile, "Serves you right." I even stuck out my tongue.

He was about to hurt me when I immediately pointed at Dad, "Daddy oh! Zedric looks like about to do something bad!" I even pouted to make my acting a lot more convincing.

I heard Zedric angrily exhaled as he look at Dad, "Good morning Oji." and bowed to him.

"I know that you both know you guys are no longer kids so stop playing around. Mira, your sister is already waiting for you."

"I was just about to give her phone, Oji." he fished it out of his pocket and walked towards me.

"I'll let you slide for what you did, especially your Dad is here. But I won't hesitate to get back to you." he whispered as he gave me my phone. Siya kasi ang nagtatago nito. And I know this already had tracker inside.

He gave me a kiss on head before pushing me gently, "Go on. You don't want your sister to wait longer. Take care, babe."

Hindi ko siya sinagot saka bumaba na papunta kay Ate. I slid into our service car and we immediately headed to the office.

"Hindi naman siguro mag-tatagal ang meeting. After it, you can head back to the Villa if you want."

"Okay."

In no time, we arrived at the building and went to the elevator. Naka-sunod na kaagad sa likod ko ang mga men-in-black or bodyguard na para sa'kin. Particularly, not to let me esccape them. I knew that Zedric hired them. Ate was busy talking to her secretary while I am so absent-minded on what we are going to do today. She would simply announce the merging of our company and Zedric's after our wedding. Ate said, it would also give a chance for ours to grow even more, thanks to the help of Zedric and his parents company. Pag-kalabas namin sa elevator, may ilang tao na ang naroon, hinihintay kami. Ang iba daw ay nasa function room na. While we were walking towards them, malayo pa lang, nakita ko na si Gab. The moment he saw us, he suddenly ran towards us, passing by Ate and the people infront, and eventually bumping into me.
