FIRE. THAT WAS all she could see. Every way she turned there was fire and destruction. Families, running for their lives and soldiers who are fighting for their safety.
She seemed to be standing in the middle of it all. She was clad in a fancy looking armor with her raven black hair flying behind her as she ran. She wasn't running for her own safety, though. No, she was running for someone else's safety.
In the corner of her eye she saw a family being cornered by that thing shaped like a pepper shaker. Without hesitation, she ran up to them. She jumped onto a pile of rubble and used it to go higher. In mid-air she did a somersault and landed right in front of the family. With a glare she reached to her back and out of nowhere a sword appeared. It had freaked out Quinn in the beginning but she had learned to live with it, being homeless on an alien planet asks that of you.
She sighed once she heard her stomach give a loud rumble. She hadn't eaten in two days. Her tawny brown eyes searched around the alien market place for any vendor that served food. Once her eyes locked onto a cart with several breads, she made her decision.
The Israelis woman grabbed a scarf from a wandering alien who was not paying attention, and wrapped it around her head to disguise herself. Then, she went to stand with her back to another alien's back who stood at the bread vendor and quickly snatched the bread before casually walking away. Quinn really thought she did it without getting noticed until-
