QUINN SIGHED LOUDLY, turning around in her bed and frowning at the wall. She had had another nightmare a few minutes ago and had been mulling over it in bed ever since.

This nightmare was like the ones she had before. There was screaming, crying, fighting, the calls of a man yelling 'Warrior Princess', a woman yelling, 'Doctor' and dying. A lot of people dying. Nothing knew.

She was distracted from her thoughts when there was a knock on her door. "Q, you awake? I've found us a planet. It's a market planet, with three suns, five moons and a beautiful sunset. If we hurry we can see it."

Quinn groaned, she was in no mood to go out to a planet with the Doctor today. But ever since Amy and Rory had been staying home due to their newlywed status, the Time Lord had been in a rather down mood and tried to take her with him to all sorts of planets.

The raven haired let out another sigh, the Doctor was still knocking on her door and rambling about the planet he had found for them. "Okay, okay!" She finally yelled, turning in her bed so she was facing the door. "I'm up, I'm up! Just give me a sec."

With slightly more force than necessary, she slung her legs off the side of the bed and grabbed a stray shirt from the floor. Quickly tugging the oversized shirt on, Quinn noticed that it reached past her knees but she still grabbed a pair of shorts.

"What?" She grumbled once she had opened the door. The Doctor raised his eyebrows at her appearance. Her raven with golden streaks hair stuck up in multiple directions, she had black bags under her eyes, the oversized shirt she wore had the words; 'I run on coffee, chaos & curse words' and her bare toenails had left over nail polish on them.

Quinn cleared her throat, making his eyes snap back to hers to see her giving him a bored and annoyed look. The Doctor eventually smiled and grabbed her hand, dragging her to the consul room and eventually out of the TARDIS.

"No, no, Doc. I'm not in the mood, really, I- wow."

She cut off her own words as her eyes had found the beautiful night sky. The gorgeous mix of red, orange and yellow with the sea was completely mesmerizing.

From behind her, the Doctor smiled at the look in her eyes. Quinn might think he had been down from the Ponds leaving (temporarily), but he had actually been dragging her from planet to planet because he noticed how her nightmares were affecting her more than usual.

"Woah, this is beautiful. I can't believe this," she let out a breathy chuckle. "How did you find this?"

The Time Lord stepped forward so he stood next to her and smiled, both of them looking fixed at the sunset. "Oh, just a little bit of my memory and-"

"-And the fact that you aimed for something completely different but the TARDIS brought you here."

"Yeah."

Quinn laughed, leaning her head against his shoulder and smiling contently at the beautiful sunset.

"Did you know, the planet's moons are praised here because of their-" and as the Doctor went off on a ramble about the planet, Quinn couldn't help but notice the way his nose would scrunch up just this little bit when he was excited or how he sometimes seemed to look like an uncoordinated cat.

And as they eventually sat down in the warm sand, the Doctor talking excitedly about the planet and Quinn listening with her back in the sand and her eyes staring up at the sky, she realized this was a place where she could forever be happy.

And she did not mean the planet.

"Doc, I'm not sure about this."

"Oh, it's fine. Just make sure you take a good bite."

"It looks like something a cow just produced, do you really think we should eat this?"

The Doctor shrugged and took a large bite from the brown, mud like cake that he had bought for himself and Quinn. He munch on if for a moment -with Quinn watching skeptically- before spitting in on the floor in disgust and scrubbing his tongue with the back of his hand. "Ugh, ugh! That's horrible! Why would they even sell this?"

Quinn stopped laughing for a moment to watch the Doctor's horrified face before continuing loudly. "Oh, your face! That was amazing!"

The Time Lord glared at her while throwing the rest of the cake into a nearby garbage bin. "Oh, and by the way," starts Quinn, also throwing her cake away. "You're the one who suggested this cake because it's a 'special' of this planet."

The Doctor frowned, knowing that that is true and that he couldn't talk his way out of this. He grumbled, making Quinn laugh and pat him on his shoulder. "Why don't you go get us some actual food, Doc. I'll go to the ladies room, wherever that is..."

With that agreement, they separate ways and Quinn trudged through the busy market place. After having talked for hours on the beach, they had both fallen asleep on the warm sand and Quinn had a new nightmare-less dream for the first time. When they woke up they had set off to find some local food, with the Time Lord insisting that he knew what they could and couldn't eat.

Quinn chuckled to herself as she saw the Doctor's reaction of the cake in her mind again. With a content smile, she tugged on the ends of her oversized shirt while her eyes searched for what could be classified as a toilet.

Her breath was temporarily taken away when she fell over a crate of grapes and her bare knees scraped the floor. "Aw, man," she whined. "This is my favorite shirt."

Suddenly there was a flash of white light and a mechanical zap!, after a second it was gone. Confused, Quinn stood up again to see nothing out of the ordinary.

Except on the ground, an inch away from her bare feet, lay a TARDIS blue envelop with a silver number 1 on its back.

With furrowed eyebrows she reached down and opened the envelop.
