Chapter 5: A Day At The Arcade

"The Symbol of Peace was healthy. You were wrong, Master!"

"No I wasn't," the voice from the screen replied calmly. "We just weren't prepared enough. Yes, we underestimated them. It's a good thing we did it under the cheap "League of Villains" name. By the way, what about Master, and my joint creation, Nomu?"

"He was blown away," Kurogiri answered.

"What?!"

"More precisely, without coordinates to a certain location, I could not find him, even with my warp. I did not have time for that."

"Well, I suppose it cannot be helped," the man behind the screen sighed.

"There was one child who was as fast as All Might," Shigaraki piped up from the floor, blood still pooling from his injuries. "If he hadn't gotten in the way, we might have been able to kill All Might."

"And there was another person who was very powerful. (Y/n) (L/n), Ironwing's kid. She was very well trained."

"Oh?"

"The brats... those brats!" Shigaraki growled.

"Well, we'll have to try again next time. For now, lie low and don't be seen. Goodbye."

"We need to make some drastic improvements to the school's security, don't we?" Principal Nezu said aloud.

"Yes." Snipe agreed.

"A warp quirk is already very rare," Midnight commented. "But for a villain to have one, of all things..."

The hybrid principal looked down, deep in thought.

"And (Y/n)... we'll have to keep a close eye on her. For her safety."

(Y/n) blinked her eyes open.

She struggled to sit up, wincing slightly.

"(Y/n), you're awake."

She glanced over at the two boys.

"Shoto? Bakugo? What are you guys doing here?"

"The ambulance needed two people to make sure you were okay on the ride here," Shoto answered. "How are you feeling?"

"I feel like shit." she answered, grinning tiredly. "Thanks for visiting me. I really appreciate it. From you as well Bakugo, even if you don't want to admit it."

"I didn't visit you. I was following what was asked of me." Shoto said coldly. (Y/n), sweet as ever, still smiled at him.

"You can deny it all you want, but I know you were worried. You were my best friend Shoto. You still are," (Y/n) corrected herself.

"Excuse you, I'm here too," Bakugo said, annoyed.

"Does that mean you admit you were worried about me?" (Y/n) said mischievously.

Before he could argue, the door slid open. Recovery girl stepped in the room.

"I need a moment with (Y/n) please. Go wait in the hall."

They both exited the room and Recovery Girl turned to her.

"You gave your classmates quite a scare there, running after that villain like that," she commented.

"I didn't run-... I know," (Y/n) bit her tongue to keep a smart remark from tumbling out.

"Well, while you were unconscious, the doctors here were able to patch you up in say, oh, an hour or so. You've been recovering for a few more hours as well. I came here to heal you once you had woken up and gotten your strength back." Recovery girl explained. "You should be able to go back to class in a few minutes."
