Today was the day!
(Y/n) had been studying her ass off to prepare for the final exams. The three days of written exams seemed to breeze by, and suddenly she was standing outside the Practical Exam Center Plaza.
"Wow! I've heard all about this from the upperclassmen!" (Y/n) whispered excitedly. "I've heard the arenas are huge!"
"If we're taking on those talkn' trash cans, it'll be a piece of cake!" Katsuki crowed triumphantly, his mood about the robots significantly better. They all settled down quietly as Aizawa began his speech.
"Now, we will begin the practical exam." he announced. "Of course it is possible to fail this. If you want to go to the training camp, then don't make any stupid mistakes."
"There are a lot of teachers..." Jirou murmured. This did not help (Y/n)'s anxiety and stress at the moment, and maybe even tripled it.
"I expect you have all have gathered information ahead of time and have some ida of what you'll be doing."
"We're fighting robot warriors like at the entrance exams!" Kaminari exclaimed with confidence.
"Fireworks! Curry! Test of Courage!" Mina cheered.
"Too bad!" came a muffled reply from Aizawa's scarf. Principal Nezu popped his head out from the layers of cloth.
"For various reasons, the exams will be different this time! From now on, we want to focus on person-to-person combat and hero work, and stress teaching that is closer to actual fighting. So..."
He leaned in closer to the class, a shadow falling across his face.
"We'll have you perform in teams of two to fight against one teacher!
"Against... the teachers?" Uraraka trembled.
"In addition to the pairs and who each pair will be up against have already been decided. These were determined at my discretion based on various factors, including fighting style, grades, and interpersonal relationships, so here they are-"
(Y/n) strained to hear her name in the list of groups.
It's an odd number of students... she thought to herself. Does that mean there'll be one group with three?"
"(Y/n), Todoroki, and Yaoyorozu."
"Huh?"
(Y/n) smiled nervously at Shoto and Momo, who in return nodded and smiled back.
I got this, she thought to herself. You can do this (Y/n), you can pass this exam!
Aizawa glanced over at her with a lazy grin, as if he could read her mind. She gulped.
Or can I?

(Y/n) stood out on the street, her eyes darting every which way.
"It's our turn. Let's go." Shoto said. (Y/n) nodded, turning to Momo, who was lost in thought.
"Yaomomo?" she asked her. That snapped her out of her stupor and she looked around, bewildered.
"Are you nervous?" Shoto asked. "Considering who we're up against... but don't worry, I have a plan."
"Don't worry?" (Y/n) exclaimed, her wings bristling out around her. "Um, have you met Aizawa-sensei?"
"(Y/n), trust me on this." Shoto stared into her (e/c) eyes. She bit her lip.
"Alright."
"Team Todoroki, Yaoyorozu, and (Y/n), start!"
