"I left you alone for one period, only to find you've gotten yourself into detention for flipping off the teacher!"
Tweek shifted his feet on the smooth flooring and avoided the tall boy's gaze.
"Babe," Craig continued, "I've never been more proud but why couldn't you have done that in any of my classes? I would have paid to see that!"
He paused to flash a smile.
Tweek smirked back.
"More importantly," Craig continued, "what's gotten into you? It's not in your nature to flip off most anyone, let alone a teacher! Are you feeling alright? I heard you gave her quite a mouthful."
Kenny snickered at Craig's comment as he joined the line outside of the empty classroom.
"Tweek gave a mouthful of what exactly to the teacher?" He quipped, wearing a lopsided smirk.
"Shut it, Kenny," Craig retorted bluntly.
Tweek's face reddened but he kept his focus on his boyfriend.
"I'll tell you about it later, Craig," he promised dismissively, just as the principal stomped over."Lisa Berger?"
"I'm here."
"Eric Cartman?"
"Unfortunately."
"Sally Darson"
"Here."
"Kenny McCormick?"
"Yup."
"Fosse McDonald?"
Silence.
"Tisk, tisk. Truanting again."
"Bebe Stevens?"
"Present. Although, I really don't understand why I'm here at all."
Principal Mullen paused to let out an exasperated sigh before deciding to dismiss the comment.
"Craig Tucker?"
A short silence was met by a giggle from the other students.
"Detention again for you tomorrow. You will stay on detention until you learn to respect your authority figures and keep your middle finger down," the man scolded.
"Tweek Tweak?"
"Yes, sir."
"Right, that's it. Go sit down," the principal instructed gruffly, once he had finished marking attendance.
With an apologetic glance towards a now dejected looking Craig, Tweek took a seat beside Kenny.
Cartman, who was going to take that seat, was looking equally dejected.
The boy frowned and sat at the table behind.Kenny stared at Tweek in a quizzical notion.
"Uh, hey, Tweek. Trouble in paradise?" The boy asked, uncertainty evident in his tone.
"QUIET!" Boomed the principal. "You are to study and nothing more. You are all seniors, which means none of you should be here. Shape up and start taking your classes seriously."
"If we shouldn't be here then why are you keeping us hostage?" Craig spat back dryly.
"Hehe, yeah," Cartman agreed while flicking a rubber band.
"Mr Tucker, you are testing my patience. You know exactly why you're here. Its your attitude that lands you here so often!" Principal Mullen snarled.
"And just like every other time, I'll be out of here before the hour's up," Craig argued.
Principal Mullen gave the boy a stern, disapproving stare.
Craig sighed in a bored fashion and flipped open a blue notebook.
This seemed to satisfy the principal and he tromped over his desk without another word.
Watching his boyfriend stubbornly talk back to the teacher, Tweek smiled fondly.
He will never learn. Craig always says exactly what he thinks and I love him for it.From his backpack, the blond retrieved a book of his own, in hope that the principal would believe him to be studying and leave him be.
Then he turned his attention back to Kenny.
"Everything's fine between Craig and I. Actually, I -uh- wanted to talk to you," Tweek admitted in a whipser.
Kenny's forehead creased with interest.
"Go on," he coaxed, lowering his voice to match Tweek's.
Tweek bit his lip.
How could he put into words the storm raging on in his mind?
He had so many questions. All of which sounding rather crazy.
"Well..." the boy began, beginning to twitch with anticipation, "I, um- I saw- hng- it was awful -a-and it didn't make any sense but- I-I-I saw it! Grrr- Everyone thinks I'm c-crazy! I think I'm crazy! You will probably think so too. Argh! How can I-? I can't- this is too much p-"
"Woah. Hey, chill out dude. It's alright. Just say what's on your mind," Kenny cut in, trying to conceal the apprehension in his voice.
Tweek frowned.
"Okay," he breathed.
Tweek closed his eyes and inhaled deeply, mimicking the steps his psychologist had shown him.
After a heartbeat, his eyes snapped back open, starting intensely at the teenage boy in front of him.
"I saw you die," he uttered, his words dropping from his tongue like stones.
