Before & after

Nine

I look up at my clock and realize I'm over my time so I sprinted out of my house but once I open the door a single white rose is on my doorstep.

I pick it up and walk back inside my house.

I throw the single rose in a vase before returning to my journey of walking to school.

I finally make it to my school, rushing to my locker and grabbing my books for English.

"Hey stells" sully says as he walks on my side

"Hey sully"

"Hey guys!" Will says as he cuts in between us and wraps his arms around our shoulders

"Don't tell him nothing!" Sully says as I grin

"What? About you crying lastnight" I spit before laughing

"It was a sad movie!" He yells back

I look at Will who was trying to figure out what we were talking about

"We watched the titanic last night, he cried so that's something new he actually has a heart in there!" I tap by his heart and he winks at me

"Oh?" Is all Will has to say as we walk inside of English class

Same old same old, boring English class I turn to look out the window staring at the birds flying from tree to tree

"Stella Jackson your being paired with Will Hollingsworth" mr wood says

What is the project on? I was so zoned out

"Will?" I whisper

"Yeah?" He questions

"What is this on?" I ask as I look into his eyes

"You have to pick a scene from Romeo and Juliet and then present it in front of the class" he says as he smiles

"Well lucky you guys, you guys don't have to be with the devils spawn!" Sully whispers loudly that Alexa turns her head and rolls her red eyes

Okay her eyes aren't really red but whatever.

I smile as he calls her what I call her

"I'm rubbing off on you huh" I say before sticking my tongue at him

"We're practicing after school" will inserts and I begin thinking. Should I?

"Your not allowed to say no, and we're working at your house" he states as he slides back into his chair.

I sigh and nod

I don't want him at my house

Yes you do

God shut up brain.

The rest of the day goes by, finally I'm waiting in the library since I have a free period today because guitar is only a class every second day.

I reach my locker before the school bell can ring, I grab all of my stuff and begin walking home.

"Hey!" I turn around and find will

"Yeah?" I ask

"I'm driving duh" he says as if I should have known

"Oh?" I say and begin smiling

"Okay let's go butterfly" he wraps his arm around my shoulder and we begin walking to the parking lot.

We get into his car and he takes off

"Hey, why did sully come over lastnight?" He asks

"Just to see if I was okay after I didn't show in gym" I look at him and he looks dumbfounded
