"But Peter! Why can't we go in? What's so wrong about it?" Ned begged his friend. Peter sighed and looked at him with Captain America's Brows of Disappointment™"I'm sorry Ned, but Mr Loki said no. Plus, whenever I go near that door, my spidey senses go off. Something isn't right about that room." MJ snickered at her friend's debate; although, she was actually quite curious herself, what did that room behold? What stories lie there? Is there anything dangerous? But she knew that arguing was a waste of time, breath and energy, so she composed herself of doing so.
"Come on, please? Just one peek. I promise I won't be too long!" Ned piped up. Peter, unable to continue their quarrel any longer, turned to MJ, who was sitting on the sofa and shot her a pleading look. MJ simply shrugged and carried on reading her book.
Peter sighed again, and was hesitant before whispering, "Okay, but only one little, ity-wity, tiny-tiny, small peek." Ned beamed at his friend. "I promise it!" he quickly said, before turning to the door.
Something was in that room, and the door was the only thing that stopped the trio from looking at it. Ned slowly approached the door, and he gingerly put his hand on the doorknob. Just one turn and a peek he thought to himself.
Turn.
Click.
Creak.
Ned peeked through for one second, before shutting the door and turning to his two friends. Ned had an excited, yet mesmerized face. "That was amazing! There's some type of portal in there! Do you know where it could lead to?" He jumped.
MJ quickly placed her book on the coffee table and walked over to her two friends. "What did it look like, may I ask?" Peter was quite intrigued himself; a portal was on the other side of that door. Just a few inches, and it is right there!
"There's this type of machine, and blue light was swirling around it. It looked so fascinating! Like Thor's lightning powers or something." Peter and MJ turned to stare at each other, all three of them were thinking the same thing.
The trio crept closer to the same door. Ned touched the door handle again.
Turn.
Click.
Creak.
The three opened the door and tiptoed inside, not realising that the door closed behind them. What they saw really was fascinating.
"Isn't it cool? I told you so!" Ned boomed, his friends had their jaw dropped, even MJ, which was very uncharacteristic of her. Ned leaned on a counter, which had a lot of buttons on it (I'm probably guessing that you know what will happen).
