Aurora

Two hours later they completed performing the engagement ceremony. Just when I thought the night was over, my parents come back from the car with a three layered cake and bottles of champagne. I needed a scapegoat. I couldn't stand to be here any longer. Harry was nowhere to be seen. He disappear after the ceremony was over. I had no idea how or where to, but I wished I was as slick as he was in this moment.

"Aurora grab me all the glasses!" My mother cheered. I walked over to her resting my hands on her shoulders to calm her down so I can look her in the eyes and talk to her.

"Mother, I'm tired. I'm going to bed."

She rolled her eyes and shook her head. "No. Why don't you go keep Harry company."

I held back my groan and eye roll to avoid getting slapped by her. "He's gone," I said bluntly. If only I was gone right now. I'd rather be anywhere else but here. Even with Harry to be completely honest, wherever he was. I know it had to be as far away from this house as possible.

"Fine. Go to bed then. Only because it's about to be midnight, and you have classes tomorrow." I completely forgot I started the second semester of my last year of college the next day. I was glad. I don't think I can stand another minute of being here any longer. Not in this house with my parents. They didn't even allow me to live on campus. I never got the chance to have the experience of living in a dorm room. I always wanted to see how it was. If it really was like how it is in the books, movies and shows I have watched. I doubt it, but still; I would've liked the experience.

"Goodnight." I told her before hurrying off to my bedroom. I went to my closet stripping out of the dress to change into something more comfortable. After putting on joggers and a hoodie I shut off the light and I climbed in bed, pulling the big covers over me. I fished my phone from under my pillow. I went on Netflix and watched a few episodes of Friends before falling asleep.

"Aurora!"

"Aurora!"

I woke up to the sounds of loud banging on my window and my name being yelled repeatedly. I check the time on my phone.

3:30 a.m

What the hell.

"Aurora!" The voice didn't sound familiar at all. Who the hell would be on my balcony at this time knocking on my window like a mad man?

I debated on wether I should get up and check or pretend like I never heard anything and try to go back to sleep. It could get me killed, but what burglar or serial killer would know my name? My argument was enough for me to feed my curiosity. I climbed out of the bed pulling the shades of my window to the side. I was shocked to see Harry on the other side. His face was pressed against the window and he looked a whole mess.

I unlocked the window from the top before sliding it open.

"What the hell?" I grumbled as he fell on his face into the room. He didn't make a move. I was starting to think he was dead. Panic washed over me. I kicked him with my leg to check. He let out a groan, letting me knew that he was indeed very much alive.

"Get up" I told him after a while. Why the hell was he here at three in the freaking morning? Why is he here at all? He attempted to get up but fell back down again. He sat on the wooden floor for some time before grabbing a hold of the wall to balance himself. He was drunk.

"Can I get some water?" His voice was deep and scratchy. He was no longer dressed in the floral suit. He wore a black T-shirt and black jeans  instead, with boots. His hair was wet and sticking to his face. I'm still confused as to why he is here. How did he even manage to get on my balcony? I argued with myself as to whether I should obey his command and get him water.

Rolling my eyes I grabbed a bottle from my stash that I keep on my night stand, tossing it to him. He struggled to catch the bottle. We both watched it as it rolled under the bed.

He suddenly bursts out laughing, scaring me a little.

"Can I get another?" He hummed, welcoming himself onto my bed. I was tempted to yell and tell him to not sit on my bed and pull him off, but I decided against it. I grabbed another bottle handing it to him this time, knowing that he was too dysfunctional to even try and catch it again.

I stood against the wall infront of him with my arms crossed over my chest. I still want my questions answered. I doubt they would be at this moment. Not while he wasn't in his right state of mind.

I hestitantly walked over to him. He looked up at me with tired eyes. His eyebrows pulled up and his lips in a straight line. His eyes met mine for the first time since we met. I hadn't realized how green his eyes were earlier today. The green was mixed with red. A lot of red.

I reached behind him to grab my phone before quickly retrieving back to my spot. It was now four o'clock. I was tired. I just wanted to sleep before I had to be up again at ten for my classes. I looked back at Harry who was now laying down, asleep, with his legs still on the floor.

How the hell am I supposed to deal with this? I thought of calling Odyessy but I decide against it. I, unlike some people, do not disturb others from their sleep in the middle of the night.

I sighed and made my way over to him once again. I pulled off his boots from his feet putting them to the side before pulling his legs up on the bed. I pulled the covers over him, studying his face once more. His closed eyes made his lashes touch the bottom of his eyes. His lips were formed into a frown. His wet hair making a mess on my white pillow.

I shut of the light before leaving the room.
