Aurora

I laid on my back with my hand in the air, staring at the ring on my finger. I was surprised when Harry brought it up to say the least. I never thought much about it or how it made him feel. Should it make him feel a way? I never considered taking it off either. I couldn't bring myself to do so. Either way I didn't want to and I probably won't ever want to. I wasn't ready to let go.

"I miss him everyday." Odyssey spoke.

I turned to look to her before looking back at the ring "me too."

"I told you to get rid of that thing on your finger a long time ago" My mother stood, with her hands on her hips, outside my door. Harry stood behind her. I put my hand down and stared at the ceiling in annoyance before sitting up on the bed.

"Did you need something?"

"Did you do as I asked?"

Avoiding eye contact with her, I spoke in a barely audible tone, "Yes we did mother."

"Where are the results? Did you take a test?"

"Shouldn't we wait to take a test? It's too soon to know."

"You're right. I'll buy the test by the end of the week and you can take it then. Come downstairs, we have much to discuss." She was gone before I could even blink. Harry stood by the door with his hands in his pocket. He looked to Odyssey before looking to me. He was hesitant to say something. Instead he turned around and went downstairs as well.

"What test results?"

"A pregnancy test."

Odyssey stood up from the bed abruptly, "You really did it Aurora?"

"I had no choice. Come on let's go." Odyssey pulled on my arm as I tried to leave the room.

"Should we talk about it? How are you feeling?"

"I'm fine. I don't want to talk about it right now." Talking about it isn't going to change the fact that it happened. I do not want to accept the facts yet. I was not ready. Even though it did indeed happen. Sometimes I wished I could go back and undo it all. I'd handle things much differently. I haven't been able to sleep for days. I am up all night thinking too hard about what happened. The fact that I could possibly be pregnant was not putting me at ease.

Odyssey smiled half heartedly, giving my hand a tight squeeze in a caring manner, "Whenever you're ready"

We left the room, meeting up with my mother and Harry in the dining area. Folders and papers were scattered all over the table. My mother motioned for me to sit. I pulled out a chair, taking a seat. At one point my attention fell on Harry. He was busy on his phone, not bothering to listen to anything my mother was saying. I studied his features as he typed, finding myself intrigued by the smile that so happened to appear on his lips. My eyes scanned his face, landing on his lips. His cheeks began to grow and crows feet formed around his eyes as his smile got bigger and his eyes brighter. He was genuinely happy.

The sound of my mothers voice brought me out of my trance, "Aurora are you listening to me?" My head snapped towards her in a fast motion when Harry looked up from his phone. I could feel his eyes on me. I tried to ignore the feeling. My mother furrowed her eyebrows, giving me a disapproving look followed by a head shake.

"As I was saying, you and Harry will be taking dance lessons for your first dance."

"Is that necessary?" I question.

"Unless you want to make a fool out of yourself on the dance floor, yes it is necessary. You will began tomorrow at noon. The dance instructor will be coming to you so there will be no need for you to leave the house. Harry I expect to see you here fifteen minutes prior." My mother turned to him for conformation.

Harry nodded once, "Yes ma'am."

"Is Perfect still the choice of song?"

Odyssey looked at me when my mother mentioned the song. My undivided attention was on my mother, "No, we have to change the song."

"The next song on the list is A Thousand Years, that one should work as well." I nodded in agreement.

"What's the deal with the wedding dress?"

Odyssey took that as her chance to finally speak up, "It has been taken care of." My mother looked her expressionless. They held eye contact for a while before my mother looked back down at her notepad and continued on with her list.

"We will be having the rehearsal dinner in two days at Jane's place. It's soon, but we will be doing a second rehearsal the day before the wedding to be safe. Which means I need all the bridesmaids and groomsmen present. Odyssey will your family be present? If not I can always replace them." My mother glared at Odyssey once again.

Odyssey glared back, "They will be present."

"Harry will your groomsmen be present?"

"They will be, yes."

My mother clasped her hands together. "Next thing to be discussed is the reception as well as the photographer and videographer. The reception will be held in our backyard. Two of the three cakes will be here. The actual wedding cake will be at the location of the wedding ceremony. We need a song to play as you all make your way into the reception. The next song on the list is You and I (Nobdy in the World). Are there any preferences?"

I shook my head no. I was fine with the song of choice. My mother looked over to Harry. He sat leaned back in the chair with his hands crossed over his chest "Harry why don't you pick a song that isn't on our list, we could use a change."

"Say You Won't Let Go by James Arthur."
