Aurora

Somehow, somewhere in the middle of Harry's reading, I had ended up leaning my head against his shoulder. My eyes were shut closed as I listened to the soothing voice of his as he continued to read the book.

"My body, conscious that its own warmth was permeating hers, would strive to become one with her, and I would awake. The rest of humanity seemed very remote in comparison with this woman whose company I had left but a moment ago: my cheek was still warm with her kiss, my body bent beneath the weight of hers. If, as would sometimes happen, she had the appearance of some woman whom I had known in waking hours, I would abandon myself altogether to the sole quest of her, like people who set out on a journey to see with their own eyes some city that they have always longed to visit, and imagine that they can taste in reality what has charmed their fancy. And then, gradually, the memory of her would dissolve and vanish, until I had forgotten the maiden of my dream."

Harry's voice slowly began to vanish as he read the last words of the paragraph. My eyes flickered open as silence had overtook the atomphshere. I sat with my head still laying on his shoulder, he didn't make any movements either. The sound of footsteps coming up the stairs made us jump. I removed myself away from Harry, straightening myself as Mrs. Edna made her way over to us with two mugs set on a tray.

"Hello dearies, I thought you could use some hot chocolate." She gave us a smile as she set the tray on the Otto that was set to the side of the window seat.

"Thankyou Mrs. Edna"

"Oh Harry, I've told you many times to just call me Edna. You make me feel old." Mrs. Edna let out a laugh after saying that. Harry's laughter following suit. I smiled at the sweet moment. I don't think I've ever actually heard him laughing.

"Now Harry. Are you going to introduce me to this beutiful young lady?" She looked at him with desperate eyes.

Harry faintly smiled and turned to me before turning back to look down at his feet on the floor below him. His smiled had went away. A look of concentration overtaking his face.

"My name is Aurora" I held out my hand for Mrs. Edna to shake. She gladly placed her hand in mine shaking it lightly before letting go.

"It is a pleasure to meet you Aurora. How do you know my sweet boy here?"

Harry's head shot up in my direction, his eyes searched mine in panic. It was like he was telling me not to tell her about our situation. I broke our eye contact, turning to face Mrs. Edna once again.

If he didn't want anyone knowing about us then that was fine I guess. I wasn't to thrilled about others knowing either. "I'm a distant friend of Harrys."

"Don't lie to me now Aurora. I know all of Harry's friends. Close and distant." My face burned up at the embarresment as I had been caught in a horrible lie. Harry looked at me with pleading eyes. I shook my head ignoring the look he was giving me. I couldn't possibly lie to this lady. She knew more about Harry then I did. She could tell if and when I was lying.

"I'm his fiance." I told her truthfully.

Mrs. Edna gasped in shock, jumping a little and bringing her hands to her cheeks in surprise. "Really now? Harry, how come you haven't told me you're getting married. Oh goodness! When is the wedding? Am I invited? My sweet boy is getting married."

Harry stood up from the seat, getting ready to leave. Mrs. Edna grabbed his arm to stop him from walking away. He had a look of annoyance on his face as he let out a sigh.

"Harry, what's wrong?" Mrs. Edna asked him. He didn't respond. Clentching his jaw instead.

"Don't you dare disrespect me now Harry Styles. Speak to me."

"I'll be back Mrs. Edna. I forgot my phone in the car." She squinted her eyes at him, not believeing his horrible lie at all, but let him go instead of questioning him. She sat down next to me once Harry had dissappeared downstairs.

"What's wrong with him?" She asked me. I pursed my lips together as I stared at the rugged floor. I wish I knew what was ever wrong with Harry. He was too closed off for me to even take a guess.

"I have no idea."

Mrs. Edna nodded. "How did he propose? It must've been so beautiful. Harry always came her when he was younger, he stopped coming about two years ago, although he does stop by once in a while to check up on me. He's a sweet boy. My sweet boy. He would always tell me about his future plans for when he grows older. I remeber when he literally wrote out how he was going to propose to his future wife and how he wanted his wedding to be the exact replica of his fiances dream wedding. I am saddned that I wasn't there to see it happen in action. He had written it so beautifully I can only image how even more breathtaking it must've been for you."

Hearing Mrs. Edna say this made me realize that Harry had gotten taken away from him the opportunity to propose to his ture love in the ways he planned it. He would never be able to propose as he wanted. Not to me atleast. My heart churned up at the thought.

"He didn't propse actually. It's an arranged marriage." I told her.

She gave me a look of symapthy. "Oh well i'm sorry about that honey. Just know that Harry is a great guy, he will make a wonderful husband." I wanted to believe her. I really did, but the way Harry acted around me -sometimes annoyed and angry, other times open and honest- made me to believe that he couldn't possibly be capable of loving me. Or even being happy with me.

When Harry wasn't back from the car yet I began to worry that he had left me here. My eyes searched the outsides of the windows for his car. I was relieved to see it still parked on the side of the road. I could see in through the windshield, Harry was talking on the phone. He looked to be smiling which was quiet weird really.

Who could he be talking to?
