Aurora

"I wrote you more notes so you can keep them to read whenever I'm not around to tell you how much you mean to me. These are ones I quoted from a few of your favorite poetry except for one." I took the small notes from him, grinning hard as I opened each of them to read.

"To love you is not my promise, it is my faith, to burn until I can burn no more."

"I found a love that consumed all of me."

"Let's dance beneath the stars and forget about the world."

"Once upon a dream my princess."

I looked up at him with an even bigger smile.  "Thank you. I love them, I'm going to add it with the rest."

I was pulled away from my trance at the sound of a knock at my bedroom door. I turned away from the wall I was staring at, averting my attention to the locked door. I stood up from the bed to unlock the door. Harry stood opposite of me with a faint smile on his lips.

"Hey."

"Hi."

I opened the door wider, stepping to the side so he can enter then closing and locking the door after he did so. I sat back down on my bed with my back leaning against the headboard and a pillow on my lap.

Harry was hesitant to speak, but he did so anyways, "How are you feeling?"

"Better" I reassured him. He gave me a small nod. We sat in silence, neither of us speaking a word, until Harry pulled something out of this pocket that was.

"I got you something"

I looked down at the small black sketch book he had in his hands, "What is it for?"

"I don't know what it was that your mother ripped up, but it seemed to be very important to you. I remembered you telling me how much you love poems by Atticus, so I filled this sketch book with ones I thought you'd enjoy reading once in a while. I also added a few sketches here and there for decoration, you might also find a few unfamiliar quotes, those happen to be a few I wrote on my own actually. I know this probably won't make up for the distruction, but I hope it makes you feel better and happy again. You look best when happy."

I sat up and took the book from him. I opened the book, scanning the first page. "That was her magic, she could still see the sunset, even on those darkest days." There was a drawing of a sun and a moon collided. It wasn't the best drawing in the world, but it's the thought that counts and it was cute. I went onto the next page. "How many nights does it take to count the stars, that's the time it would take to fix my heart"  That wasn't one by Atticus I remembered. Harry did say he added some of his own, that must've been one of them. It was interesting nonetheless.

I closed the book, giving him a sincere smile. "Thank you Harry. I love it." I stood up from the bed, leaving the book behind to go outside on my balcony. Harry's footsteps followed close behind. I leaned against the railing looking up at the sky. The skies were clear tonight, not a single star in sight. I was disappointed. It was rarely that the stars hadn't shined, I suppose tonight was one of those nights. Even so without the stars, the night sky was lit up with the beautiful bright full moon.

Harry stood next to me, copying my actions he leaned against the railing "The moon looks really big and up close." It did indeed. This is the brightest it had been in a while, it was actually the first full moon I've seen in weeks.

"It's beautiful." I continued to look up at the sky in search of even a little twinkle. I could feel Harry's eyes burning into me. I turned to face him, giving him a raised eyebrow look. "You're staring"

"You're really beautiful. It's hard to look away." I felt my face heating up at Harry's words. It was weird hearing him say such a thing about me. I didn't mind, but I would've never thought in a million years Harry and I would be in a state like this. Harry's fingers found their way under my chin, he turned my face slightly so I was looking at him once again. He tucked my hair behind my ear, rubbing his thumb against my cheek.

"You really are beautiful Aurora." Harry leaned down as I carefully placed my hands on either sides of his face, just like he had done with mine. In that moment I couldn't remember the last time I had gotten so lost in a kiss before. The rhythm of my heart began to quicken and my heart began to skip beats as the space between us had closed. It was a kiss like no other, I pushed myself against his body in hopes to be even closer to him, if even possible. For so long I had been craving to be kissed like this one more time, It was a feeling I missed, a kiss that burned me alive deep down inside. I wasn't sure how long the kiss had lasted, but neither of us were coming back for air. All I could think about was how the touch of his soft skin beneath my hands sent electricity racing through my entire body and how his soft, warm, strawberry mint flavored lips felt so right against my own.

After what felt like hours the kiss had ended. Harry pressed his forehead against mine. I closed my eyes taking in the moment as we both took sharp deep breaths. How a person who was forced upon me can make me feel like this I had no idea. One thing I did know was that Harry was no longer just a person who was forced upon me.

Harry turned around once again facing the sky, looking off into the distance. I wrapped my arms around his holding tightly onto his arm. I looked up at the sky once more with a big smile on my face. A bright light was shinning from the distance, it looked like it was coming towards us.

It was a shooting star.

"Harry look, a shooting star! Let's make a wish" I closed my eyes, quickly making my wish in hopes of not missing the opportunity. When I opened my eyes the shooting star was gone, but Harry still had his eyes closed. I had never seen a shooting star before. It was even more breath taking than actual stars.

"What'd you wish for?" I asked him.

"If I told you it wouldn't come true" He smiled. I smiled back at him and leaned my head against his shoulder. Even though I made a wish, I had all that I needed. I may have not known it sooner, but I know now.

Harry was everything I could ever wish for and more.
